Dr. William Bryan Hartley

Dr Hartley has been exceptional in diagnosing and explaining my condition. He is very thorough and listens to my questions and concerns. I still have a way to go in this journey but would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!!

During my visit(s), didn't feel this doctor listens to me., and unfortunately, it has happened on 3 or 4 visits. Its almost as if before comes into the exam room, he already know what/how he will move forward to treat me, without listening or taking into consideration my response to his questions, i.e. the problems/concerns I tell him I'm having.

He told my husband his stress test was completely normal in feb. Here it is Jan and we have been in the hospital for 2 caths. Also nurse told us he noted there was damage on the front part, but that it didn't need to be cathed yet and told us it was all fine. LIAR and super RUDE

Been waiting at memorial hospital since 11:00 am to see him to be released it is now 5:30 on. Still not here.

I could write a book about this Dr. To sum it up: should have went with my gut after reading reviews. Was told things have changed since 30 years ago when my father died of a massive heart attack, don't know where he got 30 years ago. He died in 2006. Was told he did this everyday after I asked him a question.acted arrogant and non chalent. Tried scheduling echo for same day because we live 2 hours away. Was told it had to be authorized first which is true . Told them to call the pre cert number and it could be done over phone. The nurse said do y'all want to pay upfront and then file. Sure. Can write a check for couple thousand dollars! Not. Then was told we needed to hurry up and decide because it was there lunchtime. We are switching Drs. I'm sure this want change his approach Towards treating patients. I see why he is only has a 2.5 rating!!!

Dr. Hartley does not have very good bedside manner. His judgment is very poor as well. You cannot go by what you think, you must order testing and not just an EKG to verify if a patient has a heart blockage because the EKG is not an acccurate tool. My family member had a severe blockage that was unfound until they performed a heart catherization. Thereafter the results were astounding. He would have died if Hartley had sent him home with the nitroglycerin pills and waited until a later date. Use wisdom when using a doctor of this nature. He also talks down to his patients, like he is someone very special.

Dr. Hartley seemed rushed and minimally concerned. He was not prepared for my appointment, and did not try to provide test important results. Promised to call with results but still no call after almost 4 weeks. I could not contact him via telephone, answering service does not allow for a live response. When asked, he said he has too many patients to answer all their calls. Poor performance.

This guy is an idiot. Does not answer questions with confidence and acts intimidated by questions regarding condition. Quick to diagnose and got it wrong according to two other caridologists including one in his own practice!!! Cancels appointments.
