Incompetent is understatement. he is a disgrace to the medical professional.

Dr Helm is totally incompetent. Two times in a row I went in & he made medical decisions without even examining me. I was in the hospital & my specialist told me I had damage to my leg & needed to follow up with another specialist. My leg was never examined & I was told to wait about the referral to the specialist. Next I went in with severe shoulder pain. Saw the nurse who asked me a few questions & had me raise my arm which I could not do. The nurse left the room to talk to Dr Helm & came back & told me to take 2 Aleve which I can't take because of my other medication which Dr Helm should have known. Started looking for a new doctor right away.

I showed up for my annual physical only to be told that computers were down and they couldn't read bloodwork. Couldn't reschedule either. No one called from office to reschedule. I called after week and they said it would be 4 months for a new appointment. I had been considering changing doctors anyway and this made the decision easy. Still waiting for lab results that were requested to be mailed. Rude staff.

This Dr is incompetent!!! He never wants to look at you...he's always got his head buried in his pocket pal. His staff is as rude as they come. NONE of them wants to really help you as a patient. They are more concerned that you come into their office every month...unless of course if you are sick! Then they don't want to know about you! It takes them at least 4 days to call in a refill for a prescription. I will NEVER go to him or that office again!!!!!!!!!

I have no confidence in this guy.His decisions don't make any sense.its not just me saying that, my caregiver said the same thing.He is an idiot

Dr Helms never even looked at me had his face buried in his laptop personally I like a hands on Doctor not one stuck in his laptop seen him many times finally got to the point of not wanting to go any more now I'm looking for a new Doctor, also when ever I needed my referrals they would take there sweet time and I had to reschedule my Specialist, they messed up my prescriptions and even had me classified as a female on my paper work on my first visit even though I am male kind of scarey you ask me watch out for this Doctor hes is only interested in your money...

I really liked Dr. helm's personable manner, he doesn't make you feel rushed, however they have transferred all paper files to a computer system and in the past 6 months my 3 appts. were cancelled due to their system being down..which can make people who have to go to great lengths to get into the dr. really annoyed..Hate to say but I am going to find a new doc. now..I am sick of wasting my time...plus this is delaying my health care needs..

Doctor Helm is great. He listens and talks to you. He seems to actually care.However his staff leaves something to be desired. I tried calling in three times over 3 days to talk to a nurse or doctor about a sinus infection. After finally getting hold of the nurse, she told me that I needed to come in to the office. Why couldn't they tell me that in the first place instead of making me wait that long? I've also had some billing issues. They put something in the computer wrong and I was getting a bill for it. I talked to the office manager and got it cleared up, but this is something that I shouldn't have to worry about.The wait is always really long. I know that is pretty much status quo with any doctor, but hour long waits are ridiculous.

I have been seeing Dr. Helm for many years.Every visit has been pleasant. I now have other family members and friends seeing him.He actually sits down and listens to you and gives feedback. He doesn't rush through the appt.

My experiences with Dr. Helm have been very good over the years. He has answered every question I have ever asked. He sits and converses with me and gives suggestions regarding keeping my health at or above par. I have enjoyed my experiences with Dr. Helm.
