Dr. William Hong, MD

William Hong, MD, is an attending neurologist in the Department of Neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of neurology at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric neurology and epilepsy, with clinical expertise in autism spectrum disorders, CDKL5 deficiency disorder, epilepsy, ketogenic diet therapy, and neurogenetics. Dr. Hong earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania before receiving his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his pediatrics and child neurology residency training at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital, followed by fellowships in epilepsy and epilepsy genetics/neurogenetics at Boston Children’s Hospital.
