Dr. William Jason, MD

Dr Jason is a No non-sense, straight to the point surgeon who explained all my options prior to the procedure, his confidence left no chance for doubt in my head (witch was nice), the nurses at his office went over and above to ensure all my leg work was done right as well. My advice Go for it call them ,-Todd

Environment is not very friendly. Called two times day before office visit to make sure they had imaging results needed for 1st time visit or I would have been more than happy to re-schedule. Was advised they had what was needed and no need to re-schedule. Brought in to room and was told an x-ray was needed. Advised x-ray was not going to show anything and that is why I had an MRI. Staff went to find MRI as she did not have it with her when brought back to room. Dr. Jason enters room. Basically can't do anything without film. Explained I was told the office had everything for my visit. Just paid $120 co-pay and was not going to be inconvenienced both financially and for my valuable time because their office failed. Dr. Jason showed no compassion and was basically throwing the problem back onto me. Spoke to him for approx 5 minutes. He left room. His male staffer came into the room, did not even acknowledge me, opened a cabinet and pulled out a paper and handed it to me. Went back out… of room and brought back a dollar store band to use for exercising. At this point, I was not going to stay any longer than needed and advised I would follow up at home. Dr. Jason should consider showing some humility instead of pride. Positions and titles do not make an individual better than another. Would never go back and I'm sure they wouldn't have me either. Hopefully they will consider self examination as well as examining others.

My first visit was rushed, he was very uncaring and seemed irritated with my situation but he ordered an MRI. The second appt was to receive the results of my MRI. I got to the appt 15 minutes early just to be told that he was refusing to see me due to the possibility that I could have a seizure. I was also told to be evaluated by an ED doctor. I explained that it was normal for me to have a seizure every few days, my service dog was with me and my mom was there as well. I was told that he still refused to see me and that I was a liability. They said that I could reschedule, I did not because I could have a seizure at any time, if I was a “liability” that day, I would be any day. I left and asked the receptionist to have the dr call me with my results and he has not. I felt discriminated against. His behavior was unprofessional and discriminatory.

I am relatively new to the area and was a little apprehensive about trying a new surgeon. It had to done as I was in major pain. I not only torn rotator cuff, but a torn tendon. It took a several months and some PT after surgery before things felt normal, but I am doing extremely well. I have regained use of my shoulder and have gained back some strength and the pain is gone. I am very grateful to Dr. Jason. JP

Just completed my 1 year checkup following my total hip replacement by Dr. Jason. Not only did he perform the surgery, but managed my pain levels and recovery process with no complications. I was up walking within hours, home the next day, doing household chores a couple days later and completely mobile unassisted within 1 week. If there wasn't evidence of the incision, you wouldn't know I had surgery at all.

Dr. Jason's receptionists went above and beyond assisting me with scheduling pre-op appt with unresponsive primary Dr.'s staff and were friendly and proficient. The surgery went well and I was pleasantly surprised to receive, without asking, a step by step report of the procedures performed during the operation, including the actual amount of blood lost. I've had 2 total knee replacements in the past from a different orthopedic surgeon and had no such report. I appreciate his use of technology in follow up questionaires, via email and the patient portal. He is an excellent Dr. and I appreciate his attentiveness before, during, and after the surgery.

Dr. Jason made it very easy for both my husband and son to talk to. They were comfortable with the process all through out his care. Kind and caring.

Dr. Jason amazing, replaced my knee in a supportive sterile environment. I would recommend Dr Jason to anyone needing any ortho help. The entire experience has been positive, from first meeting his staff and him to today..day 6 post op. Suzanne Wood

I love Dr Jason.He did my shoulder replacement in ,I think 2013.Not sure, but today it is still as good as new.No problems at all. I can do everything I ever did,reach up,fasten my bra in the back,turn my shoulder every way.I am so pleased with my results. Eleanor Troutman

I went in because my right knee was swollen. 2 month's prior I had visited the emergency room at my local hospital because I was unable to put any weight on my right leg without awful pain. At the hospital I had x-rays and a sonogram to rule out fracture and deep vein thrombosis. Their diagnosis was arthritis and a bakers cyst. They referred me to an orthopedic specialist, which was no longer in network. While, I waited to secure an appointment with an in-network specialist, I followed the hospitals treatment plan: Keeping leg elevated, icing regularly and taking ibuprofen: my pain cleared up within five days. However, my knee remained swollen and very stiff/filled with fluid. Therefore, my PCP/doctor said I should go to a specialist. I chose Jason because he was listed on my insurance's network. His first question to me was what was I doing for pain. I responded that my main complaint was swelling, I stated pain was not an issue, I only had a little aching now and then and it was… manageable with aspirin or ibuprofen. He said I needed a cortisone injection and aspiration of fluid which he performed. A treatment plan was not discussed or offered. No advice as to what I might do to reduce the swelling was given. Basically, I left with the impression that once I said I didn't need pain medication he was no longer interested in my problem. Now, today, I get a copy of his report, which I requested before leaving his office. His report states that I was complaining about a 2 month history of pain. He, also states that I have 5/5 strength in quadriceps and hamstrings and normal capillary refill in the feet. I really don't know how he knows this because he did not perform any kind of movement test nor did he examine my feet. I never removed my shoes. Further, the nurse or assistant, Payton had a weird demeanor; spoke with her back to me at all times. After, the injection and aspiration Jason left. After, a couple of minutes. I had to ask Payton which was inputting into a computer if he was coming back. Which she responded something to the effect of no you're done, you can go, still with her back to me. I would not recommend this "doctor" to anyone that actually wants to receive a treatment plan.
