Dr. William Davis Kenner, MD

The court sent me to Dr. Kenner during a custody battle about my son. He simply had me talk offering very little input. He favored taking away my custody and my son has never been the same. He ruined both our lives giving the custody to my husband and my husband refused any communication with my son. If I hadn’t taken him actually illegally my son would have been 15 year old son would have been homeless. My son has never gotten over it and is an emotional mess. He will be with me through all his life. I don’t know what I am going to do when I die. He should not be allowed to practice. I am sure my ex-husband paid him off.

This man blatantly and repeatedly lied on the witness stand during a custody hearing for my son. After spending only one hour with my son, Kenner also made magnanimous claims about what he thought the wishes my 5-year-old might be if he were in charge of own his life. Still under oath, he assigned my son multiple unfounded diagnoses, including “attachment trauma,” and equated this to physical or sexual abuse. Kenner immediately followed this with an attack on my character for inflicting the *equivalent of sex abuse* on my son because I wanted to spend time with him every other weekend. **All this without ever having met me!** He has NO Board Certifications. He simply uses his authority as a Medical Doctor to make his assumptions *sound* like facts. Instead, most of it consisted of overt lies. And it ultimately contributed to the permanent loss of my parental rights. Kenner was not trying to protect my son. He was looking out for anyone offering the biggest payoff. He's probably already… spent that money, but my son and family will pay a much higher price for the rest of our lives because of Kenner's negligence and greed.

Dr. Kenner is excellent. He's compassionate, empathetic and extremely knowledgable in the field of mental health. His support helped my family get through a very difficult time.

made an incorrect diagnosis based on hearsay mostly that led to the removal of my child from my custody and the deterioration of my family. was apathetic concerning the emotional well being of myself and my children. did not follow up with the proper authorities regarding things I told him, and incorrectly diagnosed me by saying I was fabricating things that were actually true. had my parental rights removed without full knowledge of the situation and based my diagnosis more on what the opposing attorney said about me than our actual interview. the emotional toll it has taken on our family will never be repaired......he did irreparable emotional damage to myself and my children. he will never understand the intense and unrelenting grief that he has caused us.

As a former, long-term patient I can say that Dr. Kenner offers exceptional evaluation and treatment services. He is a supervisor for local psychologist and psychiatrist according to a friend or mine who used him in that capacity as a licensed psychologist. Not for the faint of heart. He is simply professional and focused on the task at hand. He never broke the treatment framework in 6 years and he left no lingering hooks into my independence.

This man is a horrible liar. He lies for whomever will pay him the money. I have reported him to every licensing board possible with the hope that it will protect others. Do not ever agree to see this man.
