Dr. William Lackey

One of the worse doctors I have visited in Manhattan. I went to the office to check some really bad knee and joint pains I was having. First of all the doctor barely spoke to me asked me a few random questions did not even examine my knee, I was in the office for about 5 minutes the most!!! There were no secretary nothing I walked in directly to the doctor. He said I didn't appear to have anything serious and told me to take ibuprofen for 1 month. I was checking my insurance claims today he had the audacity to bill my insurance $500.00 for a 5 minutes consultation. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FOR THIS PRACTICE.

I've known Dr. Lackey and staff manager Tanya for more than 20 years and can honestly say he hands of gold for any surgery and a heart of gold for us. Tanya and her staff treat us with respect and kindness.

Dr.Lackey has been helping me for several years and ive recommended my family and friends and everyone is very happy with him and we will be using him and recommending him for years to come if needed,,,THANKS DOC

Dr. Lackey repaired my wrist when I fell and broke it. He explained that surgery was the only way to repair it and he took the time to explain the 3 options he had when he did the surgery. He actually drew pictures of what would happen with each option. He also did the surgery on both my knees.

Great Dr. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Excellent doctor for the Brooklyn area

Myself and multiple coworkers are patients of Dr. Lacky and we all sing his praises. He has gone above and beyond. He is also honest and willing to help get other opinions on my issues.

I have been a patient of Dr.Lackey's for several years. He is a very knowledge, kind and caring physician. He take necessary time to explain your condition, test findings and treatments options. I have recommended may friends and family to him and they have appreciated the referral. I would highly recommend Dr. Lackey as an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Get Run around.Make appointments and no progress.

I was told by Dr. Lackey (aptly named) that i needed an MRI and I was given a paper with different MRI facilities to call. I called 4 places (including my insurance company) and they all told me the same thing...lackey's office did NOT call my insurance for an authorization which EVERY doctor knows is required in order to get an appointment. I was told by the receptionist that I should call the MRI places again. Why? She then told me she didn't have the paper work ready so that it would take 3 days to get an authorization. This is NOT how it works. I've done this before. I was also told to take an anti-inflammatory for which I would receive a prescription in the mail a week or so later. Why? Dr. Lackey's manner was extremely brusque. Diagnosis: Lackey is Lacking.
