Dr. William Gustav Larsen, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Larsen for over 15 years, and I can honestly say that he is one of the best primary care physicians I've come across. I have found him to be attentive, compassionate and knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend him as a primary care physician.

I really like Dr Larsen, however he has the worst help at the front desk. There have been a few instances when I have had an emergency and tried to make an appointment and the front desk staff either sent me away or couldn't be bothered with my call. Additionally, I am not sure who monitors his phones but trying to reach his office after hours or during a holiday is impossible. I tried to call his office today and never got through. His office line doesn't appear to be set up with an automated message with office and holiday hours. The phone may ring once and then drops you into a dead zone. If you continue to call back, you may eventually be connected to a "HOLD" service which continues to remind you that a representative will be with you shortly but I never heard from anyone. Before spending a fortune to run to urgent care, it would be nice to know Dr Larsen's office hours with out having to physically drive to the office to understand if his office is open or see his office… hours posted on the door.

This doctor not only misdiagnosed my condition but prescribed the wrong medication. He seemed caring.After changing doctors to get a 2nd opinion and even getting a 3rd opinion I realized he has no idea what he is doing. It really doesn't matter how much time the doctor spends with you in the office if he really isn't listening.

Overall, Dr Larsen is a great doctor. He's warm genuine and friendly. Sometimes he takes more time to talk than others but he is always attentive to your needs. I have been to other doctors and Larsen is more respectful of your time and needs.
