Dr. William Mordecai Levinson, MD

Dr. Levinson has been great at treating my son for ADHD. He answers all of my questions and genuinely cares. The staff is great. Very understanding and helpful.

I've previously attended specialist services at a full-service Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician/Therapy office in Pennsylvania. This came nowhere close to their thoroughness. However, I already knew my children's diagnosis and this office works well for getting new prescriptions. Whoever answers the phones to make appointments could use some sensitivity training, however. It's pretty clear she's not enjoying her job, nor the families she supports. Once you get past her, however, the rest of the staff are lovely.

Our son was sick for 2 years, barely learning for 2 years.Had surgery to fix his ENT problems that was also causing sleep apnea. After surgery he was still struggling and behind at school despite a new willingness to learn .After banging my head against the wall with our sons schools success and constant insinuations that he had ADD/ADHD from school staff and a refusal to test him I sought out a medical professional to help me find out what is right with my son and what he is lacking in. I spent hours doing research, sleepless nights. I thought he was dyslexic but wasn't positive A. because I am not a DR., B. He was functioning in a reg class with AIS. I did research and found DR. Levinson . Making an appointment was easy and I was able to get in sooner due to a cancellation. The staff was more than courteous. DR. Levinson, had a kind smile and put my son at ease. Listened to all of my concerns, gave me a script & directions on how to get my son tested by the school as well as… scripts for vision and hearing to rule out other medical issues. I knew that my son didn't have Add/ADHD, schools just want medicated zombies and think that any kid who had learning issues has ADD. bought back his school testing results at our follow up and to my surprise he has mild dyslexia. Dr. Levinson isn't this over prescribing meds DR. He genuinely cares, sincerely wants kids to be successful and get the proper treatment. I think his 38 years of experience and the fact that he is an educator speaks for itself.

Dr. Levinson is a crappy physician. He is rude, arrogant and is truly a degenerate. I request that he be put into prison for his malpractices. He makes me sick to my stomach!!!!!!!!

Dr Levinson knew exactly how to help my autistic son, he also help us on getting services thru the state of NY

i took my 5 year old, who has ADHD and PDD-NOS, to see Dr Levinson in order for him to help guide her therapy/treatment and provide documentation for her IEP for school. I completed a lot of paperwork for the doctor ahead of time and brought all of her previous evaluations from many specialists. He spent 5 minutes with me (told me to have my daughter wait in the waiting room--I took her out of school for this appointment and he didn't even want to look at her!). He told me to have some more paperwork filled out and to get a psych eval and come back in one month. I completed the paperwork and got the eval and brought my daughter back in one month. He barely looked at my daughter and said, "she has ADHD. this is the drug I want to put her on". That was it! She has a cardiac arrhythmia so we were not looking for a drug Rx. He gave us no helpful information or advice--he merely confirmed a diagnosis that she had already been given. Furthermore, he said it would take his "typist"… at least a month to get us documentation for her school about her diagnosis! Would never go back to him.

Two residents were the ones to sit in the room with me and my child and asked us questions. They then went back to DR L for what seemed like an eternity when you have a toddler waiting with you in a dr room.. They finally come back with minimal information and a request for a hearing test to which he neglected to give me the rx for!.... Desk lady and nurse who did weight nd blood presssure were AWESOME tho!!!
