Dr. William Scott Lynn, MD

Dr. W. Scott Lynn joined Radiology of Huntsville in July, 2007 after completing a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at Wake Forest University. Dr. Lynn is from Huntsville and is a 1985 Grissom graduate. He attended Vanderbilt University on an ROTC scholarship, double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Math. After college, he was commissioned into the Field Artillery and served in Georgia and in Desert Shield/Storm. After fulfilling his active duty Army commitment, he worked for a few years as an engineer, eventually attending UAB where he received his M.D. degree in 2000. Dr. Lynn completed a transitional internship in Birmingham and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX where he served as the Chief Resident twice. Dr. Lynn continues to serve his country as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve Medical Corps and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
