Dr. William Edward Mccollum, MD

Dr. McCollum has treated three members of my family and several friends over the twelve years I have known him. He is professional, thorough and compassionate. I will continue recommend him with complete confidence.

Dr. McCollum was a breath of fresh air when I found him for help. Not only is he a psychiatrist who spends quality time with patients that is often rare in this field anymore, he is patient, compassionate and highly trustworthy. He diagnosed conditions I was misdiagnosed with that ultimately saved my life. He exceeds the above and beyond expectations and sacrifices himself and his family for the well-being of his patients. There is NO other Dr. McCollum. He is a highly intelligent, professional doctor, having 35 years of experience who understands how medicine works with the mind and body. He is current on new medicines and treatments as well.

Would not recommend this doctor. He is rude and very uncaring. He appears to believe he is a God. Showed no compassion whatsoever and is very defensive and projects his own issues back into his patients. Be careful and don't take young people to see this man.

Dr McCullum was very non empathetic, rude at times, quick to diagnose based upon a questionare and lacks knowledge on how to treat people in crisis. He is impatient and extremely overly sensitive which is very inappropriate in a treatment setting. He overcharges and isn't worth the time or money. The reason why it is quicker to get in to see him versus other doctors is quite apparent. They need to shut him down. Quack doctor.

all he did was try to push bipolar meds.

First Doc that I have had that takes his time to get to know you. Not just your problems. Wonderful caring Doctor!
