Dr. William Doyle Merkel, MD

Befree9127@gmail From start to finish, I was treated by Dr. Merkel and his staff with nothing but kindness and understanding. Dr. Merkel recently performed a 7 hr. very complicated surgical repair on my upper abdominal area. This was a procedure that demanded the highest level of expertise and experience. I was fortunate enough to have found such an extremely skilled and knowledgeable Surgeon for whom I have nothing but the utmost respect for. Upon meeting Dr. Merkel at my initial appointment, I was immediately put at ease thanks to his gentle, easy going nature. Finally, I had found a Physician who was confident he could perform the surgery & give me the positive outcome I had waited 20 plus yrs for. It was a complete success and I couldn't be happier. I wasnt even able to make an appointment with them. When I called to set up my consultation the woman answering the phone immediatly had an attitude with me. As the conversation progressed she contradicted herself so i kept trying to verify exactly what happened in the consultation and the woman became extremely rude with me. I at one point said i dont understand where all of ur attitude is coming from? she replies by snapping at me that i was telling her what they do in their office... which i in no way was. Even if i was being difficult however as a customer service rep they shouldnt be super rude. So i asked to speak to her manager and this woman literally scoffs at me and says i am the manager.. So i was like then whoever is in charge. Whoever owns the building. She scoffs again and gives me to her friend that answered and was clearly not her superior nor wanted to hear my complaint instead this woman was also ultra rude and again i said i dont understand why u guys are being so… mean. She said its because there was a miss understanding but yet i did nothing wrong or rude i write childrens books for a living and work with charities. The woman was very pushy to get off the phone with me and kept asking me to make an appointment holding back her horrid attitude i could hear in her voice. I was like yes please but i dont want to come in on a day that other lady in the front is working because she was just that rude. Well they said they would give dr merkel my number so i could complain to him about his horrid customer service reps and set up a day i can come in without dealing with someone with so much attitude. That was over a week and a half ago and i have not received a call back. I would give this zero stars if that was possible. Never have i hated a place so much before i even had entered it. I strongly do not recommend!

but so far I love everyone and everything about this Dr. and his staff! He has answered all of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them! Very thorough!

Nice doctor and easy to make an appointment. Now I know why! He scarred my body terribly beyond belief which is just not acceptable for an elective breast surgery. I also went to the nurse Vicki to have some fillers and Bottox and she was so terrible. I was bruised and in so much pain and no one could've even tell that I had anything done after spending so much money . Well except my droopy eyelid for about 2 weeks. The esthetictian seemed nice but I won't spend another penny in that place.

Dr Merkel is the best plastic surgeon on the planet! He will EXCEED all your expectations i am sure of it!

Been going to Dr.Merkle for over ten years love his staff..Went in to have a varicose on my leg taken care you can't even tell it was there..My freind should of went there her doctor did not do such a good job...Have recommended him to my nieces and my ex husband girlfriend and love their results....Thank you Dr.Merkle and Vicky you two are a team...

I had already had an augmentation done by another doctor that did a bd job, I had been through enough issues, when I went to Dr. Merkel he was very caring and quick to fix the problem for me, it took him longer to fix one breast than it took the other doctor to do both so this tells me he took alot more time and consideration in and did a great job! He has called to check up on me daily other than the weekend and has a great bed side manner! I would recommend this Doctor for any procedure

I have used Dr. Merkle after having 4 kids to put my breast back the way they use to be and he did an excellent job..It been over 8 years and the results are still amazing...and he does have good bedside manners and would rate him high...I will see him again before he retires...Vicki who his skin specialist is great also!!
