William J. Meyer, MD

I am a FTM and saw Dr Meyer for my 12 week ultrasound and it was an amazing experience. He is incredibly kind, gentle, funny, and extremely informative. I couldn’t wait to see him again for our 20 week ultrasound and again it was a fantastic experience. He put us at ease even though we had to come back at 24 weeks because of some suboptimal views. I didn’t stress at all in between scans. Each visit with him has been incredible! He always answers my questions and never makes me feel bad for asking them or rushes through our visits, I always leave my appointments feeling valued, and better informed about my pregnancy journey. At 29 weeks I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and despite being incredibly overwhelmed with the new diagnosis when I heard that Dr. Meyer would be taking over my care I couldn’t be more thrilled. He is honestly the best doctor I’ve ever experienced in the medical field and I feel so lucky to have him as a part of my care team.

I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 20 years with an A1C of 4.8. He told me during my pregnancy I should stop eating carbs because I would have to chase them with insulin. Horrible advice to say the least. He’s also rather rude. He asked how I was feeling and I told him pretty good besides having swollen feet. His response: “well that’s what you signed up for.”

We had Dr. Meyer for our ultrasounds at Hinsdale maternal fetal medicine and my husband and I both wished he could be my ob and deliver our son! He is so knowledgeable, personable, professional, down to earth, and nice! Love this doc!

Dr. Meyer is very unprofessional and atrrogant; his character is seriously flawed; I would not recommend him even to my worst enemy

He was so rude and more concerned with himself than me or my pregnancy. He is ice cold and sometimes talked in like a baby talk. I am very well educated and don't want another professional acting like a child.
