Dr. William Leigh Morse, MD

This is one of the worst doctors in the entire country. I suffered severe headaches and was always having to go to the ER and he was convinced I was a drug addict addicted to pain meds. He wouldn't refer me to a headache specialist or prescribe anything to help. I called numerous times when the pain was really bad and he never called back. He was my PCP for 6 months and he decided to quit seeing me and never notified me he was terminating me. I got an eye infection and when I called to make an appointment I was then told he terminated me and left me in the dust. I suffer from schizoaffective disorder and I felt this influenced the way he treated me and I assume he has no experience with mentally ill patients. I am not a pain pill addict and now I have an awesome physician who really cares. Dr. Morse not only terminated me with no notification, he left a scathing report on my behalf so no doctor in Tallahassee would take me. Don't trust your health and well-being with this doctor.

Dr. Morse and his staff lack basic customer service skills. From losing appointments that have been confirmed, to exorbitant wait times, often going an hour passed the appointment time, to not returning messages, and worst of all, outright stealing money from patients by withholding routine long term prescriptions and forcing them to come in multiple times causing loss of work time AND costly copays. My whole family has fired Dr. Morse and I advise anyone who values their time and money to do the same.

I like Dr. Morse but his office is so horrible to deal with. Been trying to get a routine prescription filled for almost two weeks. They refuse to fill thyroid med for pharmacy. I call and they agree that it needs to be filled (I was just there for blood test). They said they wouldn't take care of it. After four more calls and providing the address of the busiest CVS in Tallahassee multiple times, I am without medication. I spoke to someone yesterday afternoon who again promised it would be called in by end of day. I am busy at work and don't have time to keep calling and begging them ---but I will have to again. No matter how good Dr. Morse may be, most people don't have time to deal with this.

He just stares at the computer

Dr. Morse began treating my dad for over 10 years now. My dad is extremely happy with him. He credits Dr. Morse with keeping them alive after critical heart problems those 10 years ago. I am very grateful to Dr. Morse and the great care that he's provided my father all these years. I have met with Dr. Morse in conjunction with my dad's visit and I find him directs, honest and very good at getting to the heart of the matter. I would highly recommend him as your primary doctor.

Dr. Morse obviously cares about each patient and takes all the time necessary to gather information diagnose and explain treatment options - pros and cons. He embraces homeopathy without being bound to it. He's a real person and it shows.

Dr. Morse was ill-informed on my current medications and quick to try to change them without calling my previous psychiatrist. Yes, a Family Practitioner changed my psychiatric medications. It was awful. I would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Morse is WONDERFUL; Dr. Morse always makes me feel like Im his only patient, he never dismisses my concerns. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and tentative to all my needs.
