Dr. William Larkin Musgrave, DO

Musgrave is great. His staff, on the other hand, are extremely unprofessional and condescending. They make up their own rules. They will turn you away as a walk-in unless they feel your condition is serious enough to be seen. They don't care if you are sick. They told me well, you better go to the emergency care if you really need help or set an appointment. They have no precaution for covid patients and will allow them to sit in the office surrounded by other patients and infect them. They will also intercept any messages you try to send musgrave so he never receives them. This has happened many times. when asking musgrave, he says he never received them, but his staff has clearly responded, and my emails were addressed to musgrave only.

Russell Daily Dr.Daily to me he has been my Dr for years at two other clinics I don’t think you could find a more kind caring and knowledgeable Dr than him. He has always been so good at looking for any suspicious signs of something going on that most would miss. About 15 yes ago he found my thyroid swollen on a regular visit and sent me to a specialist. I was able to get all the tests and found several serious growths. With treatments I recovered thanks to Dr Daily’s concerns. I haven’t met Dr Musgrave, but all the office personnel has always been so kind and helpful. Several of my relatives follow Dr Daily wherever he practices over thirty years. Everyone just loves him

Sadly, I will be switching providers after years of being a patient. I used to adore Musgrave Family Medicine and everyone that worked there. They always made me feel like a person and not just a number. Now, I'm lucky if they know my name. The office staff are extremely unprofessional and condescending. Trying to schedule an appointment is a nightmare. Obtaining test results or any kind of follow up is like pulling teeth. I don't understand why they have a patient portal. Isn't having a patient portal to enhance communication and encourage better physician-patient relationships? I work 60-70 hours/week and travel a lot for work. A working patient portal is extremely valuable, when used appropriately. Any communication is followed-up days later and most of the time, the response is simply "call the office". When I call the office, it's rare that I receive any helpful assistance (or friendly assistance for that matter). Many times, I'm placed on hold or told that they need to relay the… message and call me back...and I don't hear back and usually need to follow up with a message in the portal. I've read numerous reviews that mention the office staff. I'm very surprised it hasn't improved. I wish Dr. Musgrave took more pride in his practice and his loyal patients.

Doctor Musgrave, his PA’s and NP’s are great. It’s his other office staff that really bring this place down. Unfortunately, it’s gotten even worse over the last year. They are rude and have little to no compassion for the patients. If you need follow up for anything, labs, tests, etc. be prepared to play phone tag and wait a while until you get any kid of clear answers. Sadly, I’ve decided to leave and find care elsewhere because the issues haven’t been addressed.

Sucks when they tell you the walk in hours are 5-530 instead of the correct ones. Thanks for wasting my time.

Plan on waiting 30+ minutes past your scheduled appointment time, just to be called back. Plan another 15+ minutes before nurse or doctor enters the room. I can understand some delay but this has happened for every appointment in the last 6 months. Also, the amount of time it takes for the doctor to approve prescriptions is absurd. I’ve waited over a week for the doctor to review and approve prescriptions and every time I’d call, they’d tell me he would get to it before he left for the day. Days/week later and after calling multiple times to get an update, it would finally be approved. It sounds like they’ve acquired quite a few new patients over the last few months. Growth is great but not at the expense of patient care.

I have lived in several country’s and many states and never in my 34 years have I EVER had such a terrible experience. This is medical facility and out of the several staff members there, only one person was wearing a mask. I asked why they weren’t following the CDC guidelines and the nurse replied, if I wanted, the lady that would be doing my women’s wellness examine would wear a mask. After tell her that I would prefer her to wear a mask, she enters the room without one. I felt extremely uncomfortable, decided to leave and told the staff why I was leaving. The lady working at the front desk said “the door is right there” and they all started laughing at me. This is supposed to be a MEDICAL FACILITY, not a high school environment where you laugh at and bully the patients for feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in a medical environment because the whole staff (doctors included) are not following basic health guidelines during a pandemic. I was humiliated to say the least and by writing… this hope no one else has to be subjected to such unprofessionalism. I called a few other doctors office in my location to ask if this was a normal thing with masks and the way they handled this situation and all the other practices said they’ve never heard of a practice doing this before and they were in shock. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one this shocked by this absolute absurd experience. As I mentioned before, I never felt so humiliated and unsafe in a medical facility before, especially having so many medical problems myself, they put me in danger with not following basic health guidelines and unprofessionalism.

Actually felt like I heard for the first time in years. I appreciate the time that I was given and I’m moving my whole family here. Russell Daily and Dr Muskgrave are amazing.

Dr. Musgrave is Awesome! Very personable and actually spends time with you. But, his staff is horrible!.. Rude, short, talks down to you, & charges you with a $50 charge if you cancel day of appointment! I called to make the appointment not even 24 hours before my said appointment and they charged me the $50! We will be taking our business else where.

Dr. Musgrave sees whole family. He is the first Dr in 16 years that I don’t have to drag my husband too. My 10 year old loves him, and he’s great with my 2 year old. HE LISTENS!!! That is so rare these days! He’s helped us with basic colds to sleep issues, to giving us healthy life style changes to help with weight loss. He cares!!!!! He doesn’t push antibiotics or any meds unless he thinks it’s absolutely and completely necessary, which we as a family LOVE! We will forever see Dr. Musgrave as long as he practices medicine! As a mom, to be able to trust that your children’s Dr always has their best interest at heart means more than I think he’ll ever know! And the nurses are almost as amazing as he is!!! The Taylors love Musgrave Family Practice!!!
