Dr. William Anderson Preston, MD

Horrible. My husband saw Dr. Preston for a fairly easy (what should have been) deviated septum (septoplasty) surgery. First of all, he never explained anything well and his staff was very short and rude. Then, he completely messed up my husbands surgery and my husband is now suffering the consequences of Dr. Preston's terrible judgment and poor surgery skills. He made his deviated septum worse to where it now has completely collapsed. Three weeks after the surgery, we had to rush to the ER with a SEVERE nose bleed. Dr. Preston was on call, but refused to come help HIS patient. He were released from the ER after they did a terrible job there "solving" the problem, and had to turn around and immediately go right back after blood started gushing out of my husband's mouth. Dr. Preston STILL did not come and fix/resolve this problem. Complete negligence and malpractice. My husband went to specialist at Vanderbilt and confirmed everything and is finally getting the care he deserves. I do not… recommend seeing Dr. Preston.

He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I had my nose broken and he fixed it , along with other preexisting sinus issues that I had been suffering with my whole adult life.. I loved his personality, which helped calm my nerves. He's very funny. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Preston and staff are all you would hope your Dr. To be. Professional, courteous, concerned. He is a credit to his profession and we are so fortunate to have him in Jackson.

My 91 year old mother, an insulin dependent diabetic, had a 11:30 appointment . The nurse came in at 11:55 an said that he had to step out of the office but would be back in a few minutes. We left at 12:20 without seeing the "doctor". She was shaking and had to rush to eat. We won't be back.

Dr preston wasn't my surgeon, but was the doctor i had to deal with on 3 occassions post op when i was having severe pain after a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. He either just doesn't care about patients or is to lazy to do anything. couldn't get him to help with anything. he didn't want me to come in to see him even though i requested several times. just told me i would have to wait till morning to talk to my surgeons nurse even though he had full capability of helping me. I was told by my surgeon that if he was not there when i needed help, dr preston would be very happy to help me with anything i needed. I guess he doesn't know him very well. I hope i never have to deal with him again.
