Dr. William Joseph Roy

Dr Roy operated on me and saved my life. He gave me a appointment right away and took care of business. He is a real doctor. Unlike so many today who beat around the bush dr Roy said you got cancer and I am gonna fix fix it. He is awesome.

Dr. Roy is everything you want a doctor to be . He treated me with kindness and respect. I am currently a patient where he did a hysterectomy on me because of cancer . I highly recommend him.

I heard Dr. Roy talking on local Channel KTBS here in Shreveport. He was accepting telephone calls and I'd had a bleeding problem for over a year. I called and Dr. Roy answered the telephone. He listened to the problem and had me make an appointment to see him at his office at University Health Care. He did a through examination pap smear and biopsies and soon found the problem. He treated me for about 4 months and I no longer bleed or have to wear a pad. I really appreciated the time he spent with me (and he was training his residents at the same time he treated me). It meant so much to have a doctor I could communicate with and trust him. His manner was so courteous with me, his staff and oncology patients. He was never late to an appointment and that was amazing! I had seen another specialist before I went to Dr. Roy at University Health. That doctor did a Cat Scan and Ultra Sound but was unable to diagnosis the problem. At the last visit I had with him he told me to… come back in a year. I really appreciate the New University Health Care Hospital. The staff are well trained and friendly. The Clinic was new and attractive and clean. Thank you Dr. Roy.

Dr. Roy has been a great doctor to me. I felt like I had the best care available because of his intelligence and professional ability. I can't imagine using anyone else. He knows what he's doing.

Dr. Roy has great credentials and an ego that far exceeds those. He knows all that he can know about your condition. He tells you are ungrateful if you complain. He refused to do a simple blood test that would have proved I had an infection after my hysterectomy. I ended up spending a week in the hospital after the infection broke through.

Dr. Roy is absolutely fantastic. His medical expertise puts him ahead of his time. He is able to explain a diagnosis in simple terms, where one who is not familiar with medical terminology can understand easily. He spends as much time as necessary to answer all questions and address any concerns. He has a wonderful bedside manner, which so many doctors of today lack. I highly recommend him to anyone, including any family member of mine.
