Dr. William Allen Schaffer, MD

He called my physician, a previous therapist, my husband and another person to try to get them to agree that I was a danger to myself, dangerously addicted to drugs and alcohol and should be admitted to a treatment program, immediately. He invented a diagnosis on the spot. I was there for a refill on a low level medication.

This is a very angry man.

The only diagnosis this doctor makes is substance abuse, and he will do so regardless of any and all evidence to the contrary. Unless you wish to be a suboxone addict or cause yourself legal difficulties avoid this man like the plague.

Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Accurately diagnoses with minimal medications. I would highly recommend him as your doctor.

Mind-altering pill happy people absent listening or life-long learning skills. If one desires to mess up their cognitive thinking to risk being subject to punishment by the judicial system for their stupidity, this is the doc for you.

Worst docotor visit ever

There was not much I liked about the appointment. He was arrogant and full of himself. He jumped to conclusions and was not forthright. I would not recommend him to anyone and would suggest people not see him. He was very uncaring.
