William Schupp

I was lucky to run into this young doctor after many doctors that I have seen he actually does care about a person. He is also a great salesman to convince you to follow his lead. I like the subtle covert intelligence and that I can open up. If he ever gets tired of medicine, I totally see him going to Hollywood to be the next Peter Parker. Haha. Great doctor. Hopefully he never finds out who loves him so much. Me. My health is challenging but somehow he succeeds in making me feel better at times and have hope.

I’m just so surprised by the reviews here. My husband and I moved from other doctors to Dr Schupp several years ago. We think of him as one of the most caring and concerned doctors we’ve ever had. He never seems in a hurry but will spend time to talk through any issues and explain various diagnosis or treatments. We feel so confident having him as our physician!!

I’m sure there are many areas where he is perfectly competent but I have found him to be a terrible listener. I visited twice with the same concern and he seemed to pay no attention to anything I had to say. He instead came across as very condescending. The best trait you can hope for in a general practitioner is that he knows what he doesn’t know, and will refer you to an expert when your complaint is outside of his scope of knowledge. This is not that doctor. It feels like his mind is made up before he enters the room and you have no chance of being heard.

This is not the doctor for you if you need someone to actually listen to your concerns and symptoms.

I was underwhelmed with the level of care that was provided. After seeing Dr. Schupp, I called back to his office to set up a follow-up appointment to check on the status of my recovery and based on my mention of being "tired", Dr. Schupp dismissed my wish to be seen again and carelessly attempted to write me a prescription for more antibiotics without any further information. I find this to be extremely careless and irresponsible.
