Nothing less than a miracle what Dr. William Soscia and his team from Center for Sight, Sarasota, Florida; do. I strongly recommend them for cataract surgery; they will exceed your expectations. They are courteous, methodical, competent and technically advanced. Listen to different options and choose the best that you can afford. You’ll enjoy the results for many years.

Dr. Soscia may be a well qualified doctor, but he certainly is lacking in how he manages his operating procedures. Having had 2 surgeries with him in the last 2 months, I think he likes to schedule as many as 20 people for an operation at the same time and then there is anywhere from a hour to 3 hours wait before you get taken into the surgery theater. This is sometimes the case when you havent had anything to drink or eat since the night before due to his recommended protocol. He only begins operating in the afternoon, so the patient is definitely not his primary concern when some of us are elderly or diabetic. There must be a more humane way to schedule his patients for surgery and I suggest anyone going to Dr. Soscia for surgery discuss the planning of their surgery prior to committing to the surgery.
