Dr. William Marcus Spurlock, MD

Dr. William M. Spurlock and his nurse, Roxana Cocos are crooks. They don’t take insurance and bill you $400 for an appointment. They order a ridiculous amount of scans bloodwork that cost a fortune. They pay no attention to the patient and their symptoms, and they believe in a lot of “quack” therapies. They made me stop taking my synthroid! They also push their line if supplements on people, and many of the supplements they insist you take, are actually really bad for people with the conditions they are treating. After spending well over $1000 to get my hypothyroid and hashimoto’s under control, I feel worse than I ever have. My hair has started falling out (it did not before), my hair and nails are terribly dry, and I have gained a ton of weight. These people take advantage of people who feel desperate and only want to feel well. I am not a person who easily falls for scams, but they know all of triggers that frustrated patients have and they definitely pull them! Avoid this doctor… and clinic! They will take your money and leave you feeling worse!

Dr. Spurlock and his staff are exceptional. From the check in to the check out desk, they all go out of there way to make my visit a 5 star experience! I’m 72 and have never felt better! Great job!

Top notch professional! He is known as the “ Detective Doctor” for good reason! He finds out the cause not just treat the symptoms!

Run and don't let them take your money.

Dr. Spurlock is a crook! I called to make an appt. on Aug 6 & an appt was setup for Aug 17. An hour later, his office called to say they couldn't get me in until Oct 13. He requires a $250 deposit & doesn't take insurance. I called back two hours after I made my appt & told them I couldn't wait two months & to cancel the appt. I discovered they'd already taken $250 out of my acct--70 days before my appt. & his office said he has a two day cancellation policy or else they'll keep your $250. I cancelled my appt. two HOURS after I made it & they still haven't put my $250 back in my acct!! Dr. Spurlock wants something for nothing. The guy is dishonest & a crook!! The guy wants $509 cash for his initial appt. & you have to file with your insurance out of network--he's not in any network!! Stay away from this crooked outfit!! I wouldn't give him one star!! The appt was a bait & switch--setup the appt 10 days in advance & Then call back & say they can't get ya in for two months--after they've… already gotten your debit card info & taken your $250 out of your acct. Dr. Spurlock did not respond to an email I sent regarding the incompetency of his nurse practitioner.

Dr. Spurlock didn't respond to an email I sent with concerns I had under the treatment of his nurse practitioner, Roxana Cocos. The main issue was in her treatment of my hypothyroidism. I had always had a negative reaction to thyroid medications. She prescribed a different type of medication. When I reported the exact same reaction, she was adamant that the medication was not causing the reaction. Even though the reaction started immediately after I began the medication and went away a few days after I quit taking it. She maintained that stand for 3 months and did nothing during that time to uncover WHY I was having that reaction. That is what medical practitioners are supposed to do and what I paid almost $1,000 for. I switched to another doctor who knew immediately why I was having that reaction and now I can finally be treated. Dr. Spurlock made a decision not to contact me to resolve my health issues or even respond to my email. Both of which are inexcusable.

Incredible physician. I can say enough about how good this doctor is! His knowledge is vast.

The finest physician I have ever met! Professional and really spends time with you and doesn't just herd you through in 5 minutes.

I would definitely choose Dr. Spurlock again. He is phenomenal. He listens to me as the patient and he is caring. Her orders sufficient blood work to make diagnosis and he is a problem solver and thinks outside the box.
