Dr. William Swain Teachey, MD

Dr. Teachey is an outstanding ear, nose and throat doctor. Before I became Dr. Teacheyâ??s patient, I had taken allergy shots for 20 years in an attempt to cure chronic sinus headaches that occurred every time the barometric pressure changed. I had four or five really bad headaches a month which would incapacitate me to the point that I was taking excessive sick days from work and was having difficulty fulfilling my work and family commitments. I even had surgery to repair my deviated septum, again in an attempt to cure my headaches. Unfortunately, nothing worked. By the time I came to see Dr. Teachey in 2008, I had tried everything on the market to no avail. In my first appointment with Dr. Teachey, he diagnosed my headaches being caused by myofascial pain and recommended trigger point dry needling. He started the dry needling treatment during my first appointment. I continued my dry needling treatments with Dr. Teachey, with the time between each treatment gradually… increasing. Within two weeks of my first visit, I started to notice a big difference. I have been a patient of Dr. Teachey for the past eight years. I have not had one headache since I started my treatment with him. I would recommend Dr. Teachey and dry needling to anyone who is suffering from chronic myofascial pain.

Dr. Teachy found out what my medical problem was when I could not find answers from other drs -they just kept giving me antibiotics. Dr. Teachy after a thorough examination diagnosed me with myofascial. After treatments the sinus pain/pressure and face pain/neck stiffness are gone. Now I continue with a maintenance plan. Dr. Teachy is very knowledge, has many years of experience, and keeps up with all the new kinds of treatment. He and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Teachy to everyone.

Dr. Teachey and staff are wonderful to work with. They are so courteous, and friendly. Dr Teachey not only takes time to answer all of our questions but also takes time to explain the answers. This is a fantastic practice I would reccommend it to family and friends.
