Would highly recommend Dr Terens and staff. Initially went due to family history of prostate cancer. Dr Terens spends the right amount of time with the patient. All questions are answered. Communication us excellent. Test results posted in patient portal.

Dr. Terens is my most trusted doctor. I’ve been using his services for over 30 years. He explains medical issues in plain , easy to understand language. He tasks the time to answer your questions and never seems to be rushing to get to his next patient.

I found Dr.Terens to be extremely thorough. Spends time with you and answers all my questions. Very professional,and helpful. Reviews results with you. Explains in simple language the status of each phase. Very pleasant,as his staff. Explains options and is very patient. I strongly recommend him. Dr. Terens has been my urologist for many years. When I was living in NJ I saw many different urologists that were pretty much just a waste of my time. None of them were able to help me the way Dr. Terens has. Unfortunately I had to relocate to Houston, TX for work just over a year ago. I saw two different urologists in Houston that were terrible. I actually did one treatment that Dr. Terens did not recommend for me years ago. I now know why he did not recommend it as I completely regret it. I ended up being worse off. I now use Dr. Terens as my urologist and will never ever see anyone else again. Dr. Terens is an amazing doctor and I trust him completely that I actually fly from Houston to New Jersey each month for my appointments. It is worth it for me as he is the only urologist that actually helps my issues and is helping me fix the mistake I made with the Houston urologist. He is very accomdating, caring, professional and just an overall good guy. I’m 100% comfortable… with him and I absolutely recommend him to friends and family and anyone else looking for a urologist. Fortunately I went to another hospital where it was explained to me that this could not possible happen the way my kidney was wired. Since then many doctors (Mt. Sinai, NYP) have evaluated my poor sac of a kidney and agreed that there is no danger from it. Fortunately for me I have better kidney function with my one strong kidney than most people have with 2 kidneys. When he did this which I believe he did because he saw me as someone to practice on. I had 4 kids and this was mid 90's so it had a lengthy recovery time. He put his interests before mine which I find immoral and outrageous. I hope he is now practiced and doesn't have to look for victims to practice on. Years ago, but to this day I am outraged that I was treated like someone to experiment on not a patient to take care of.

I've been to three different urologist offices over the years and this is by far the best office. The staff is very nice and Dr. Terens is an amazing doctor and friendly guy. He makes you extremely comfortable and your urological problems feel less embarrassing. I was in complete agony recently and this office brought me in immediately to be seen and treated by Dr. Terens. They respond in a timely manner after leaving messages and even call up to checkup on you after procedures. Dr. Terens even personally called me over the weekend to check up on me when I was in pain. He again will see me right away Monday morning to treat me and make me feel better. This is a very caring office and staff and I highly recommend this office and Dr. Terens. Dr. Terens will definitely be the only urologist I ever see as I feel he is knowledgeable and really cares for his patients and I trust him. I've never felt more comfortable and taken care of by any other doctor. Usually I'm nervous to see any doctor… and be examined but I've never felt more comfortable than I do with Dr. Terens. I'm sure the other doctors there are just as great too. Thank you very much for treating me and for me not afraid to see the doctor!
