Dr. William Martin Tucker III, MD

I have no complaints whatsoever. The office staff and nurses were professional and pleasant. This was my 1st visit with Dr. Tucker and I found him to be thorough and interested in my well-being.

I have been going here to the Springhall office for years seeing Dr Tucker, whom I like. I recently called the office complaining of what I assumed was the flu. When I went in I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner. I told her I thought I had the flu and she said she could test for it, but examined me first. After listening to my chest she said it wasn't the flu I had a chest infection and did not give me the flu test. She prescribed an antibiotic. After two days I was getting worse, so went to Palmetto Urgent care. They tested for the flu and said I had bronchitis as well as the flu, but now the time had past to treat for the flu. They were surprised I was not tested for flu even when I went into the Springhall office stating I had flu symptoms. They also gave me a breathing treatment which they were also surprised was not done while I was in the Springhall office. Worse part is when I tried talking to the Springhall office about this they completely blew me off. I called the patient… liason for Palmetto care and she also tried to talked to the Springhall office and they pretty much blew her off too! Very disappointed in the way I was treated. The office manager would not even take or return my call. It was like "how dare you question us". I do like Dr Tucker but will not be seeing him again as long as he is with this Springhall office. My wife was also not thrilled with the office staff here and stopped going as well.

Worked all night and scheduled and appointment for 10am. I showed up at 945 and checked in. At 1010 another patient comes in the office and states that she had a 1030 appointment. The office staff lets her know that the appointment was canceled and she states that was accidental. At 1020 they bring back the cancelled patient as I am still waiting to go in. I ask the desk why a 1030 appointment that was canceled is being seen before me and was told - "sorry" you were over looked. I had been the ONLY patient waiting sitting directly in front of the check in desk. I do not recommend this Dr's office of you want any kind of normal appointment. I do like Palmetto Primary Care - but will never waste my time at this office again.

I really liked this Dr, he has very nice bedside manners, listens to you and seems to care. But it is not easy to reach his nurse. I have been waiting 3 days to get a call back for medicine or see if I need an appointment first and no return call. I will be looking for someone else.
