Dr. William Mark Valverde, MD

If you don’t agree with him, he shuts you down and won’t make eye contact. I don’t know why he chose Psychiatry as his specialty.

While in Jackson, MS, this doctor was on call and he would not answer his pager nor any other attempts that hospital staff used to find him. He has an air of superiority. My needs were urgent and there was no help to be had. My hope is that this man retires so that he does not traumatize other vulnerable patients who need help. Do not trust Dr. Mark Valverde. He needs his license revoked. His bedside manner is accusatory and rude.

Dr. Valverde was very accurate all my diagnosis. He told me things about myself that I did not know and later I found to be true. Dr. Valverde change my life for the better 1000%

Horrible bedside manner. Innappropriate ways of communicating with me. Kept me on a unit for far too long. Don't know what I did to this man to be treated the way I was treated by him. Horrible hospital experience and will never forget it. He pretty much set the tone for what I thought hospital stays would be like after that. I hope he has changed and heard he is no longer at the hospital I was at many years ago because he has not one compassionate bone in his body. Or so it seemed. He liked scare tactics and threatening me. It was an awful feeling.
