Amazing doctor - old school values and current with medical updates.

He seems too busy and doesn't spend enough time with visits. Felt like my situation was dragged out uneccessarily for couple weeks. He knows his stuff but it felt like a drive thru doctor visit.

Dr van roth is a wonderful surgeon. He's very busy but he takes time to give you an analysis. He's accurate and no nonsense. I appreciate his straight to the point diagnosis and because Of him I can still walk run snowboard lift weight etc

I have to say the office staff was great! So friendly and accommodating. The office staff smiled and greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and made us feel so welcomed. My mother is a patient there and she has nothing but great things to say about the whole office. Especially about the Dr. Vonroth. Dr. bedside manner is great. I wish every office we went to was like this. One thing I will say it could use some updating as far as decorating. I needs a little help.

I went to see Dr. Vonroth, a local Orthopedic Surgeon, a total 6 times after an ankle sprain. One of the problems I discovered with him was that he didn't hear much of what I was saying. He spent approximately 5 minutes each visit, talking about his exercise routines that had nothing to do with why I needed his help to begin with, and then recorded a brief analysis via tape. I wanted to believe his "30 years experience" would finally lead me to healing. On several occasions, I mentioned the possibility of having an Ankle OCD / Cartilage Tear. (Osteochondritis Dissecans of the Talus) . He scoffed and asked if I was trying to align my problem with Derek Jeter's injury. Unbelievable! He postponed my expected recovery 5 times, finally concluding that it could be an injury similar to one he had, that lasted 4 years. Really! After 3 months, extreme stress and missed work, (he still had not prescribed physical therapy), I saw another Surgeon who immediately diagnosed and proposed a few… solutions. It turned out I was right and had ankle OCD, revealed during an arthroscopy. I am on the mend. My experience with Dr. Vonroth was extremely disappointing!

Office is poorly organized, rude staff, just an overall bad experience.

I called for a follow up visit with the Dr. and some advice, not only was i not offered any advice, it came free with a fresh bowl of attitude from the secretary on the phone. last time i checked your not going to get anyone into your office regardless of your expertise if you have horrible office staff who mistreat the very people who are paying your bills. All she kept telling me that i was wrong in a very rude manor, like i was the one that was wrong, my ankle didn't hurt. last time i checked it was the costumer is always right. I guess i must be a hypochondriac or something according to her and don't know that I can't even walk on my foot without pain. i guess she doesn't understand English and is too worried about her next lunch break. for a doctor who has almost 30 years experience to have office staff like that is absolutely appalling because the man definitely knows what hes doing, minus the hiring of competent Secretary and office staff, or at least someone with a basic… understanding of customer service.
