Dr. William E Whitson, MD

If anybody knows about bad eyes, that would me. If anybody knows about good eye doctor, that would also be me. I have had over 50 years of bad eyes and multiple surgeries, and multiple doctors. Dr. Whitson has done more for my eyes in 2 years than multiple doctors done in last 50 years. I highly recommend Dr. Whitson. Max B.

I found that Whitson is an arrogant sort--charges high fees---runs more tests than needed---If you get poor results from a procedure, he tries to get out of and often does without correcting your problem. I do not reccommend thid doctor.

Dr. Whitson spent more time with me than any other doctor I have been to. He did not at all make me feel rushed or that he was in a hurry to move on to his next patient. He took the time to thoroughly explain my eye condition to me and he gave me all of my treatment options in a way that was easy for me to understand.

Dr Whitson was very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

My son Sean who is 37 had Dr. Whitson perform Lasik surgery when he was 21. Sean still has 20/20 vision, and it has been such a blessing for him. Dr Whitson performed Lasik on me when I was 50. I am now 62, and I dont even have to use reading glasses! I would recommend Dr Whitson to anyone who needs Lasik or any type of eye surgery. He is in the top 1% of Ophthalmologists in the country and his results certainly demonstrate that!

We heartily endorse Dr. William Whitson. Using exceptional skills and expertise, he quickly diagnosed an eye condition others in his field overlooked and was able to treat the condition successfully. Dr. Whitson also recommended a change in my contacts, which alleviated a long-standing problem that hampered my capability to wear contacts comfortably for more than a couple of hours at a time. Further, Dr. Whitson's staff is very efficient in handling all functions within his practice. We intend to be Dr. Whitson's patients for many years to come.

I feel Dr. Whitson is very good at what he does. He talks to patients so they will understand their health problems and hopefully how he can help them... Also he listens to his patients and shows he DOES care about them and their health. He does NOT rush in and out like he wants to be done with everything and on to the next patient. Seems to be a very caring person... I do have my FAITH in him as an Ophthalmogist and would not really want to see anyone else. I would highly recommend him to others..

I have been a patient of Dr. Whitson for the past 12 years and have not met a better specialist. He has always had time for me and my families questions and answered them in a very clear manner, not hurrying out the door or quickly dismissing the question.
