According to leading expert Heather Ashton, 5%-10% reduction each 1-4 weeks is recommended. Also he seemed unfamiliar with the withdrawal needs for supportive medication during severe withdrawal and recovery between steps.

Dr. Wirsching misdiagnosed my condition probably because he did not take enough time to do the diagnosis. He also recommended an experimental drug without telling me it was experimental. The result was that I took a drug I did not need that worsened my condition and also left me with blood dyscrasias and some lost teeth. However, Dr. Wirsching did give me accurate information about several different movement disorders and that did help me.
