My husband is the patient,had an appointment today with dr.Wise,I was there for moral support, everything went well, after the examination my husband had the diagnosis,which turned out better than expected,recommendations were given for managing his condition,no follow up needed. So glad that I found dr.Wise.

Dr. Wise was awesome. Two months ago I had my colon removed and he also formed a j-pouch. I go back in next week to have all my plumbing reconnected. Dr. Wise was patient , informative, caring and put my mind at ease. He explained everything on a level that I could understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Visiting a doctor you have never met to have them evaluate you for colo-rectal cancer surgery is not easy. Dr. Wise's bedside manner was incredible. He was clear, he was courteous and comforting. I have only had an initial visit with Dr. Wise and so far so good.

I was referred to Dr. Wise by my GP for a painful condition that turned out to be related to an anal fistula. Dr Wise was polite, very professional, and he helped me to feel comfortable about an uncomfortable situation. He was very confident, knowledgeable and provided a realistic assessment of my options, treatment, and recovery. Most importantly, I felt that he spent enough time with me to assess the issue and further to address ALL of my questions. He even called me several days later to discuss some additional questions. I did visit another surgeon for a second opinion but afterward it was clear that Dr. Wise was the best option. I am now a week post-op and recovering very well! Dr. Wise is truly an expert and I highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Wise on multiple occasions and have had nothing, but professional and kind care. The region he works on is embarrassing in itself, but he does his best to make you feel comfortable anyway!

Dr. Wise and his staff are very caring and professional. Before and after my surgery in 1995 he explained the procedure, options and discussed all my concerns. I am very grateful my family Doc referred me to Dr. Wise. I consider Dr. Wise and his nurse Sue my friends. I would highly recommend!

DR. Wise is a true professional. Not only did he explain my issue, he told me what he thought was possible before surgery. After follow-up, we discussed options and he was open minded to my view. Insiders tell me he is the best in Columbus for his specialty and I believe them now!

It's too bad one unhappy review carries so much weight. I have never had anything less than excellent care and compassion from this physician and staff.His thorough care and skill are the biggest reasons I'm here today. Uncomfortable and embarrassing??? Sounds petty to me when I compare it to my 11 year cancer survival. I trust him and would highly recommend him.
