Dr. William Robert Zerick, MD

In 1999 Dr. Zerick performed back surgery on my mom. He nicked her nerve and she has had excruciating pain in her feet ever since. Plus, when she complained to him, he said "lady I see a hundred of you" in an angry tone. Seriously Unbelievable!!! Unfortunately, without the internet at that time my mom had no reviews to warn her about bad surgeons. Hopefully this will help someone.

saw Dr. Zerick on Nov 21, 2019. I found him to be the most arrogant, rude and mean Doctor I ever met in my life. I waited 2 months for an appointment just to have him spend 30 minutes screaming at me like I was a total idiot. My husband is a Vietnam veteran and he said he yelled at me worse than he saw prisoners interrogated in war! Now I have to start all over finding a Dr. for my surgery! He may be a good surgeon, but he can be a terrible person!!

Good things come to those with patience. He is in high demand and very thorough! I have had long waits at the office and had cancellations on their part but I feel was well worth those minor inconveniences.

Doctor Zerick did my cervical spine surgery. He is very personal and Amazing with his bedside manners with my family and I both. He did the surgery said that I would be off work for 6-8 weeks and he did the surgery so well I was able to go back to unloading trucks for Wal-Mart in 3 weeks. He is the Best at what he does. Thank you so much Dr. Zerick!!

WORST STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUTERED !! RUDE AND JUST PLAIN EVIL, each staff memeber that I spoke was horrible, his nurse his scheduler and someother lady !! Just HORRIBLE .. Dr Zerrick is amazing to bad his staff is absolutely disgusting!! Needs to hire new people ! They are are witches !

Surgery 12-29-16 I spent 1-2017 to 4-1-2017 in Mount Carmel or Care Haven Nursing Home Belmont , WV. The biggest part of the rest of the year at home with home health. It is now 9-25-18 and I am in fairly good shape. The reason I had surgery was numb feet and trouble walking. I have more trouble with this than I had before. I thought I was going to have an inch cut and I would be up and walking in a couple of days. I was opened up from bottom to top --got an infection and wasn't expected to live. Zerick has too many patients you have to wait for hours to see him. He has no bedside manners never saw him when in the hospital or nursing home. I was taken to Marietta once to see him and I requested to see him once more later after I was able to travel by car. He may have been the best at one time but when he operated on me he was at his worst.

Dr. Zerick was phenomenal. He did my back surgery after two other surgeons said my back was so bad it was beyond repair. The terrible pain went away the next day. I couldn't stand for more than one minute, now I walk miles.

He is a very good, well known doctor with excellent credentials. He displays caring and spends time to fully explain your condition and recommendations for recovery. My only complaint is the extremely long waiting times to see him. Apparently he has his appointments scheduled for 30 minutes with each patient but he seems to consistently, run late causing waiting times up to one and one half hour or more. He seems to spend more time with each patient than planned, which is a good thing but his scheduling should reflect his performance.
