Dr. William Dale Zimmerman, MD

I went to him the day after a fall. He said I had a deviated septum & probably a broken nose that did not show on the xrays from hospital the previous day. My nose looked fine, a little sore from landing on it. He said to have the surgery right away so insurance would pay for it. He also suggested he give the nose a little bang to straighten it bc it looked crooked to him. I thought it looked like normal. I said ok, big mistake! I awoke in recovery after over 2 hours of surgery with over 5ft of packing in my nose. He said it was the best he could do as my “nose had shattered like a tea cup when he tapped it” but the nose would work. After 3 years My nose ended up flattened and disfigured and after going back for a reoccurring smell that was driving me crazy and Very expensive ointments suggested I went to see a plastic surgeon. He said it had collapsed and I went through another extensive 3hr surgery to rebuild the nose using cartilage from my ear. The nose now looks very good, still a… few bumps under the skin but not noticeable. The plastic surgeon said he could not believe what he saw when he got in there. Shattered bones and GAUZE left in there!! That was what I had been smelling! This Plastic Surgeon actually had to cancel surgeries scheduled after mine to allow enough time to properly fix my nose. Maybe if Dr Zimmerman had not tried to perform plastic surgery on me so he could collect more money and had taken the necessary precautions like an mri or a scan of the nose before he decided to “give it a tap”, I wouldn’t have had to go through all thIs pain. I should have sued him but too much time had passed. I would stay away from this money hungry, inept Dr. Zimmerman.

I always arrive to my appointments early which is the wrong move for this place. They always run at least 30+ minutes behind schedule.

This office staff needs to be changed. No one followed up with test results. The test was done on old equipment. And follow up to obtain the test results was scheduled for 45 days down the road. To this day I do not know what the test results revealed. Asked by formal letter to have test results and file transferred to new doctor and it was ignored. I had enough and found a new doctor.

Very knowledgeable, attentive, and prompt. If I ever need to go back to an ENT doctor, I will go back to him.

Brought my 11 year old there after being referred by his peditrician, Dr. Zimmerman has no bedside manner and wasn't very helpful

Was not impressed at all with Dr.Zimmerman or his office. The office is very dated especially the patient history forms which look like they were done on a typewriter. There are no doors to exam rooms so conversations with the doctor can be heard in the waiting room. There is a very high patient turn over so little time is spent with the patients. Dr. Zimmerman never explained any part of his exam process to me and when I voiced concerns at one part he shrugged it off and continued anyways. I was referred to him for a certain procedure which he didn't even bother discussing and insisted on sending me out for a diagnostic test instead. He kept trying to pass me off to an oral surgeon he's affiliated with instead of actually doing the procedure I came to him for. I've made an appointment with another ENT for next month and am only returning to Dr. Zimmerman to see if he'll actually do the procedure I need.

Dr dont have time to talk with you for more than 1 min. I spend 25 mins in waiting room. Dont have much problem bt stil Dr needs so many test in his office so he can earn more money from insurance. Did nothing but asking my insurance to pay for small surgery which was not done. They just need money instead of giving u solution. so will ask for lot of appointments.

I was diagnosed with sinusitis and CT scan showed many blockages and polyps. He kept recommending surgery, i finally agreed. He botched it, saying he MIGHT have made a hole in my skull, so he patched it up. Then i had a terrible recovery and he said the turbinate had fallen down and not healed right. He was not sympathetic, he was arrogant and i am still trying to find relief from the botched job he did. I feel worse now than before the surgery. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE!

Donna at front desk is great...testing and follow up appointments made quickly. One downfall, exam room door usually kept open, can sometimes hear other patients from waiting room.
