Dr. Winston Louis Alexis, MD

From my experience, Dr. Winston Alexis was very disrespectful and he did not take the time to listen to his patient. I do NOT recommend this doctor to anybody.

Excellent surgeon. I would recommend anyone to him for surgery. I felt absolutely no pain after surgery and during recovery.However terrible personality and bad after care. No courtesy or anyone to answer your questions or concerns after surgery when you need them most.most . it's like a job well done then you're on your own.

I heard him on the radio for years and i decided to try him. The first time I call for an appointment after 11, someone answered and said to call back after 12 they are on lunch. I called back at 12:45 and I was told that no was there call back at 1. Whatever that meant, maybe there were still at lunch. I called back for the third time, then they had me on hold for about 5 minutes. When person finally came to the phone, the fact that she apologized was good and I didn't talk bother to talk about the wait time. Then it got worst, every questions the lady asked me, she place me on hold as if she was new or she didn't know what she doing. Finally, she ask me for my personal information and in the middle of getting my info, she said that she"ll call me back in a few minutes. She never called back, I then called back and they told me it was too late for an appointment, they are in the process of closing call back in the morning..??? Are you kidding me?? What kind of place is this.. If this… how they handled new patients it's horrible.. I told the lady about what happened and that I will not be calling back. I will not be going there and neither will I be reccomending no one here. This is horrible, I read the reviews and they were horible. I ignored them, but they are real horrible service.

Dr. Winston Alexis is extremely rude, defensive, and interrupts any questions you may have. I waited 2 1/2 for him to barge into the room, talk down to me, and feel completely violated. I left the office crying. No Dr. should ever make there patient feel this way. Stay away. Stay away!

The staff was rude an unfriendly care not about you and your problems. I am so disappointed in the care they provide will not recommend this kind of care to any.

Each time I visited with Dr. Alexis, I waited at least 2 hours or more. He didn't take much time to listen to my questions and interrupted me before I finished asking them. He was in a hurry to get out of the exam room and made me feel uncomfortable asking all the questions I had. The Nova Southeastern University OB/GYN Clinic is the last place I'd recommend to a friend for having a baby. They refuse to ever check your progress, even on your due date. They claim to want to help you to have a natural delivery but would rather take you in for a c-section at one week past your due date than induce you. I had a terrible experience with this clinic and these doctors. The only one worth seeing is Dr. Renee Alexis, who thank goodness is the one who delivered my baby.

Dr Alexis is very professional,composed friendly. He shows concern for his patients and is very knowledgeable about his field of Gynecolgy.
