Dr. Winston Wun Kwong Koo, MD

Dr.Koo did several shifts at CHD NICU, where our spent the first 16 months of his life. Much of this time was very scary for us and Dr. Koo told us that he would make a difference. His tactics were aggressive and inconsistent with that with which we had be accustomed and we we had several serious discussions.Looking back, we KNOW Dr. Koo was the difference. Doubtful that our son would have survived without Dr. Koo and we are VERY proud to say that we have a very active, normal, energetic son and we are forever grateful that God brought Dr. Koo into our lives. Dr. Koo took a very personal interest in our son, as well as us and he availed himself to criticism. It was a very emotional time for us and Dr.Koo accepted my criticism- even thought I had no concept of neonatal care and he comforted us and gave us hope in the face of dire circumstances.Unfortunately, this forum does not provide the forum for all of the wonderful things we would love to say about Dr.Koo. We hope that Dr.… Koo remembers us and would love to share pictures of how well our son has progressed. We can directly attribute our son's success to Dr. Winston Koo- particularly as it relates to nutrition. Dr. Koo cared for our son from late 2002 to early 2004
