Dr. Rafael Bernard Armstrong, MD

I went to Dr. Armstrong with my seventh child and I loved the service and attention that he provides. I sent two of my sisters to him for their pregnancies and now I’m back again with my eighth child. I highly recommend him because he truly cares about his patients.

It I had too choose a Dr. for my Prenatal I would Choose Dr. Armstrong over again! Very Knowledgeable & made me feel comfortable all the way thru.

If I could rate a big fat ZERO, I would, he's a FRAUD! RUDE! And a liar all for the money, his big pants WILL fall, God will see to that

I went to Dr. Armstrong for my first child, he is a sweet man but he does not take time with his patients. He comes in, checks you, and is quick to leave. I understand that he had other patients but you better make sure you have all your questions written down when you go in and make it well known that you have stuff to ask. A few of the nurses are sweet but the rest are HORRIBLE. There's especially this one older woman who has no idea what she's talking about or how to work the equipment. Towards the end of my pregnancy I had to go for a weekly non-stress test and she hooked me up to the machine...I'm suppose to press a button every time the baby would move and usually it made a beeping noise but didn't that day, so I told her...she said the machine was on so it was working. I laid there for 30 minutes doing the test and Dr. Armstrong came in to look at the results and was worried because there wasn't any information on the sheet. He asked if the baby had been moving and I said yes… and he then proceeded to scold me and tell me I was suppose to be pressing the button. I told him I was but he didn't listen...he made me redo it for another 30 minutes and the same thing happened. He then took a look at the machine himself and fixed the problem...I only had to lay there for another 10 minutes for the 3rd retry but I never got an apology from either of them. I was actually tearing up when I left (pregnancy hormones). The receptionist at the front desk is also rude. Never call to reschedule because she has a bad attitude when it comes to rescheduling. Also, I have read that Dr. Armstrong favors c-sections...which I did not know. I was told that I had to have a c-sections, which didn't surprise me because of family history. As far as the surgery goes, he's amazing when it comes to that. I had been cut open for 10 minutes and looked at my husband and asked when they were going to start the procedure. Dr. Armstrong laughed and told me he almost had my son out and I would be sewn up in no time.

Delivered my second child several years ago. Csection, got infection, bad experience. Long wait. I would not recommend

He has been my doctor for several years and has always made me feel very comfortable and has given me the best possible care. I will use him again.

He delivered my second child and i had a rough pregnancy. I was on bed rest majority of time and was in a lot of pain. During my c-section he says well we see the culprit you have a few fibroid tumors and he closed me up. I immediately switched doctors and six months later was having a hysterectomy for adenoymosis
