Dr. Woodrow Cannon Marriott, MD

What more do you need to know? Self entitled and fake personality, if you could call it one.This doctor came HIGHLY recommended by HIS family. Maybe his family doesn't really know him.

We took our 21 month old daughter to see Dr. Marriott for a cough that has been on going. The nurse was so good with her, he made her laugh and smile even feeling miserable. The doctor, however, was awful. He was rude and clearly was not there to help patients. He checked his phone twice in the 15 minute appointment. Would not recommend him to anyone who actually likes their child.

I dread every time our doctor is unavailable because we are always told Dr. Marriott has appointments available. There is a reason for this, he is rude, a male narcissist and just makes you feel so uncomfortable. It's like he tries to make you feel stupid when it comes to your child's health, it may be "just a cough" to him but if he took the time to hear why we were worried and not just go on about what we feed him he would know there is a history. Just his presence makes your skin crawl. His nurse is superficial, flighty and clearly inexperienced since she didn't even bother to check his breathing or oxygen levels. After this last visit, I'll just go to urgent care if he's our only option.

Our daughter has been seen by doctors at this office for years. We have seen Dr. Marriott before and have had a bad experience but that was 7 years ago. Tried again as a teen and nothing has changed. His nurse was rude and snotty, he was as judgmental as I remember and we will never go back to him again.

I have 7 kids and have lived in 3 states, seeing more pediatricians than that. Dr. Marriott is my favorite! He really listens. Sometimes he'll just sit and absorb and think about what he's seeing and what I'm saying before offering some options and insights. He gives a lot of time. I've never felt like I was on a team for my child with a pediatrician so much. (Honestly, with other Drs. I've just had to smile and nod, or just say as little as possible.) It's such a relief to be so open with my values for my kids' health. Even when I know he doesn't always agree with my decisions, he is still very respectful and supportive of my natural approaches. Dr. Marriott is really really great with kids. They think they are at some kind of party, the giggle so much at his antics, and is so encouraging to me as a mother. He's worth my 30 minute drive there and back!

We saw Dr. Marriot and wish we would have gone to the ER. We waited what seems like forever before being rushed in and out. The nurse was cold, the doctor spent more time on his phone than he did with us. We love Dr. Valentine but he was not available.

He is terrible. He was late, basically told us we over react to our son's problems. He spent 7 minutes telling us that we are not doctors and that he is telling us that the best thing for our child is too "wait it out" does he even have kids? Nurse was great, a little rushed, but more compassionate than that jerk

Dr. Mariott was the worst. I don't normally leave comments, but I don't want anyone to be surprised seeing him. He's rude, opinionated and talked to us like we were idiots. His whole approach to my son's symptoms was that we were overreacting. The nurse was sweet and we thought we would be met the same way by the doctor, but left feeling like we are stupid

Worst doctor. Terrible appointment and even more terrible advice. The good reviews have to be from friends

I've lived in 5 different cities with 7 kids, so I've been to many pediatricians. Dr. Marriott has been my favorite, by far. I'm kind of a granola, holistic-type mama, which I've had to basically lie about to other doctors. While Dr. Marriott definitely tells me "standard procedure" and why, he has respected my choices which have been a little alternative. He takes so much time to listen and think about me and my children and to discuss things with me; I never feel like he's racing to get out as fast as he can without really hearing me. Really, other doctors have had their answers ready to just slap on our chart but not Dr. Marriott. He literally sits and thinks with us. Also, my kids love his beside manner so much. He is playful and my kids are all smiles at his jokes.
