Although I was surgical and prepared for surgery at their clinic Dr. Chung declines to work with my other doctors who felt that my spine was a primary issue. Dr. Chung told me there was nothing wrong and that my condition was not his specialty. He’s a spine surgeon? I have a spine! I needed surgery. He didn’t want to do it because Immu injury was a result of an assault. I had not shared this information with him but somehow it ended up in my medical record. My condition worsened of course, requiring a complicated surgery. Dr. Chung wanted to save face. I think he is disgraceful. His RN was nearly 100% accurate of the diagnosis they both gave me. It was apparent to all I needed surgery. I was insured. I was never rude or belligerent. I followed all instructions, follow ups. After Many XRays , MRI and a consultation, he dropped me from care. Not because I didn’t need surgery, not because he didn’t have the full support of my medical team elsewhere. It was because I was assaulted by a… medical professional and he found out from another surgeon who did the same. I nearly lost my ability to function from the neck down. Thankfully, there is only ONE spine surgeon in Colorado who has a soul.

I went to Dr. Chung initially for a second opinion, and I am so glad I found him! He performed a 2-level cervical disc replacement that was flawless. His experience and expertise resulted in an amazingly fast recovery for me...so much so that the hospital staff was shocked at how well I came through. That is the result of an experienced and very knowledgeable surgeon, one who knows every step of the procedure and what he can do to minimize impact, and maximize results. His very open and good communication, combined with his extensive knowledge, and wrapped up in such a positive attitude and work ethic (combined with a good sense of humor when needed) really helped me through this. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Chung for any of your spine needs. He is truly an inspiration to everyone who meets him. Thank you Dr. Chung!

I had a double anterior cervical fusion by Dr Chung. The outcome exceeded my expectations. Dr. Chung provided outstanding patient education and options for my plan of care. He participates in ongoing research. Patients have access to the latest PROVEN medical technologies. Physicians look to Chung for their own personal spinal surgery. Only con is it takes awhile to get an appt to see him. He is extremely busy.

I've trusted Dr. Chung with my life through three complex surgeries and would do it again. What I find mot special is his knowledge and skill, and his bedside manner and office visits are just as amazing. Yes, my appointment is not always exactly on time, but I must balance that with all the times he has squeezed me in when I needed him or a staff member.

Dr. Chung took the time to really look at my case instead of blowing me off like other docs and found some serious issues which he corrected. I feel better than I did 10 years ago now!! He is absolutely the BEST!!!

Dr. Chung did a great job on my neck surgery. I was in so much pain before the surgery and right after there was so much relief! He is amazing and he cares about the patients! I would recommend him for anyone! Thank you! What a blessing!!

Dr. Chung revised a total back fusion, which had fractured out. Today I am pain free. If you have had back surgery has left you in pain, please get a second opinion from this remarkable surgeon.

I have to say his bedside manner is outstanding. I had a previous fusion that turns out was failed and the other Dr was giving me lip service. Dr. Chung was able to correct the problems I had...Highly recommend!
