Wungki Park, MD

Dr Park is a medical oncologist specializing in pancreatic cancer treatment and works in the renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in NYC. When my wife was recently diagnosed for having the cancer, we went to MSKCC and were fortunate to see Dr. Park. Dr. Park spent plenty of time with us explaining the situation and care plans. He was very considerate when coming to where to have chemo done. He suggested that the chemo could be done locally since the treatment regiment is pretty much the same; this would save the patient the trouble of commuting to MSK in NYC, which would be 3 hours each way and would be very taxing on patient's health. He was kind enough to be willing to consult with local doctors we would have treatment with. During the treatment period with our local doctor, we contacted Park a couple of times seeking his expert's advice. Dr Park called us back each time to answer our questions; this meant a lot to us as the patient and patient's family.
