Dr. Xaje Adem Hasanaj, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Hasanaj for over 10 years... No other Doctor had a clue, of how to treat my systems and rare condition with medication, but he did... In fact, if it wasn't for his experience and patience. I probably wouldn't be sitting here today doing this review... And I want to add that back in 2000's the nurse's were very insensitive to patients during that time at the Hospital which was then Morehead Memorial... ? through the Records for patient complaints... Some of the Nurses didn't respect the Doctors or patients. I kept copies of all my complaints I sent in...Some of the nurses ?? then.They seem to be especially cruel to the elderly and people of color at night... I remember and I will never forget the number of the bad experiences with hospital stays... And Dr. Hasanaj is not the type of Doctor Who just write prescriptions, If that was the case, with my severe constant chronic pain, and fatigue... I would probably still be on high powered… pain meds. Which he discovered that they were making my conditions worse. I just happen to be one of those rare patients, who is allergic to the majority of pain meds and antibiotics... So many Doctors had missed that life threatening issue. I have nothing but praise for this Doctor and blessed to have him as my Physician. "A Doctor Who Cares."

do yourself a favor, find another doctor.

knowes nothing doesnt care about you at all,just a pill pusher, legal drug dealer.

Terrible Doctor. Bad bedside manners. Believes antibiotics will cure anything. Has misdiagnosed my mother several times. He is aware when he "messes up" because he begins coming to your hospital room several times to see how you are. He spends about 5 minutes with patients in the mornings when he makes his rounds. Where is his humainty? HE HAS NONE. I personally would not take my dog to him.

Stitched my head without being properly numbed. Made anti-American statements during the procedure.

I would not tell anybody to go to him!!!!!
