Dr. Xena Antoinette Whittier

I do not understand the negative reviews. I have been seeing Dr Whittier for a couple of years and she is excellent. She always actively questions me about how I feel, if I am have any issues with my medications, she asked about my pain levels and stiffness. She always ask if I have any questions. When I retired and the cost of my medication increased she worked with me on a solution so that my out of pocket cost would not be so high. She takes notes and I feel like she Is on top of my issues. She is always pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Whittier.

Seen her for gout and really did not get any help. Several restrictions that affect my treatment. With flares wants to see you, which will cost more money just to diagnose each time. When you have lived with the issue this long you know what the problem is without going to her every time. Very hesitant to give out of work excuses or evaluate out of work and restrictions.

Dr. Whittier listens and asks very good questions in order to diagnose individual problems. I feel that I received plenty of time to discuss my concerns.

She always listens to what I have to say and answers my questions. They always notify me of my lab results in my chart and with a phone call.

Barely paid me any attention busy typing on her PC. Quickly found another doctor

Poor communication between other Drs that she has referred me to. Seems she is rushed continuously on visits. Communicates follow up visit but not any treatment or time off follow up. Had labs completed and xrays and never received a call from her for follow up. Has a lot of issues getting clear concise directions and paperwork from her. Nurses and some office staff do not not listen and attempt to talk over you when you call for directions or questions. Would recommend to use another Rhuematology Practice and not Wellstar! They are required to see a patient every 15 to 20 minutes max. Does not think through all concerns for treatment and issues that treatment may cause.

She is very through on all blood work . She is the only Dr that has ever called back when I had a gout flair up . I will never go to another Doctor for my gout . She helped me get my guot under control

I have been in severe pain and was seen by Dr. whittier. She basically told me there was nothing she could do for me and said I would just have to deal with it! No compassion at all!
