Dr. Xian Feng Gu, MD

Beware. Dr Gu told my husband he had Parkinson’s because he has tremors and several other symptoms. He had a brain MRI to confirm. When the MRI came back he said my husband he had Parkinson’s. However, the MRI showed there was nothing there. No Parkinson’s. Long story short. Tremors were the opposite of Parkinson’s and are anxiety related. Now we are dealing with the aftermath of additional anxiety due to his bad diagnosis. My opinion, the doc is either really poor in his field or just looking for a bankable diagnosis. He basically lied about the outcome of the MRI as the reason it was done was to confirm whether he had Parkinson’s or not.

After being diagnosed with a menengioma, I was urged by my primary doctor to see Dr. Gu. Dr Gu never looked at the MRI an if he read the imaging report he got confused. The imaging report reported that the tumor was on my right side while the MRI accurately showed that it was on the left side! Dr. Gu told me that I should come back for another MRI in six months because the tumor was small, about the size of a thumb nail. Both the imaging report and the MRI showed it to be the size of a golf ball. But, rest assured, he meets Minimum Standards in the State of Wisconsin!

Carelessly over-medicates and never explains ANYTHING. Doesn't listen to concerns or even symptoms. TERRIBLE treatment!

Beware if you have chiari or eds or related symptoms Dr Gu made a major error almost cost my life. make wise choices and always get second opion. had a 3day eeg done lost it? This whole Dr appts where jokes and a waste of time and money.
