Xuan Wu, MD, PhD

Dr. Xuan Wu is a neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the nervous system. She earned her MD from Third Military Medical University in Chongqing, China in 1993, followed by her PhD. Dr. Wu completed her residency at Methodist Neurological Institute in Houston in 2013 and pursued fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. She provides care in English for her patients.

Dr. Wu practices at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and maintains affiliations with Saint Anne Hospital. She treats patients experiencing numbness and tingling sensations, unusual skin sensations, and hand-related changes that can occur during pregnancy. Her clinical expertise includes performing electromyogram and nerve conduction studies to evaluate nerve function, and she incorporates physical therapy and strength training into treatment plans to help patients regain function and mobility.
