Dr. Xuan Qi Zhang, MD

Went to him to do an annual physical. It was odd he drew blood himself from me. Later when I asked him about my blood test results, he said the blood samples were broken(??). It was questionable why a doctor wanted to drew blood himself rather than by a nurse? I switched doctor later after that incident. So many years after that, I never have witnessed a primary care doctor draws blood from patient, usually this is done by a onsite nurse or doctor sends you to Labcorp to take blood sample. Until now I feel his drawing blood during annual physical was strange, probably inappropriate, that is why I wrote this review here.

Was going with them for my parents medical exam. Had to write back and forward a lot regarding vaccine and overall questions. Which is ok, I guess. Doctor himself is nice and had physical with him over zoom. But office ladies not really. Anyways, we made a mistake and went thought with exam too early and 60 days had past, since we were stuck on getting one of the documents. Less than 90 days but more than 60 days has past, I have contacted an office to see if I can get updated form. The blood results are still valid, they information for vaccine as well. The form itself would be valid for 2 years if I wouldn't miss 60 days frame to apply. Anyways, they said the exam needed to be redone and the price would still be the same $370/each. I have called around and found doctor B office. Called them and explained my situation, they fist thought we were their patients and were ready to update signature for $50/each, since I mentioned the exam was a little over 2 month ago. After they learned… that we went with different office in the beginning, they said I would have to do all over again for $200, which is still much less. Also, for your information, the 3D Medical in Quincy MA for $200. So I would avoid them even though doctor Zhang was very nice himself. But office's staff just in general not ready to help even during original exam process.

Dr. Zhang was a good doctor. I felt very comfortable when I first time came to his Boston office. The front desk girl and nurse was very friendly.

This doctor was honest, through, intellegent, and up-to-date with latest medical practices. He educated me on things I could do to improve my health condition. Now I understand better, eat better and look at ways I can impove my health.

What do you say when the doctor does not give you even a minute and takes three visits before he actually looks at you for the reason you took the appointment in the first place.
