Dr. Yagneshvari Shantilal Patel, DO

Dr. Patel has no warmth or clinical interest. He medical assistant was worse, repeatedly giving out incorrect information. She was clearly disinterested in anything that was said in the exam room. No clear answers - she acted like she couldn't wait to leave the room. Horrible

Dr. Patel, was a very good Dr. Kind, caring, returned our calls, she and her staff took great care of me.

My experience was very similar to the "poor" rating experiences written by the other patients. After her diagnosis that I did not have an infection, I consulted an ID specialist at another practice and follow up scan/cultures showed a massive chest wall infection requiring a month of IV antibiotics. Not very bright.

I am having a difficult time getting to see an infectious disease dr. with experience in parasitic infections. Finally I scheduled an apointment with Tampa bay infectious disease specialist.I was very relieved to finally be making progress.Waited 5 weeks for an appointment ,only to have it cancelled by message sat. before tues. appointment.Had to wait 18 more days for reschedule.Dr Patel has no manners or ability to free think.Ordered wrong tests,did not check most basic of indicators,ended interview before I fully explained situation to her ,then dissapeared into her office,leaving me to deal with staff without her presence.She wasted my time and money. Very poor at what she does.

She has absolutely no patient rapport or physician communication skills. I looked up Doctor Patel's board certification, and found out that she was an internist. That surprised me. Internists and Family Practice doctors need to have the ability to interact positively with their patients. This woman acts like a robot, examining me like I was a bug. After my release from the hospital, I saw her for one follow-up visit. She didn't say a word to me the approximately a week that I was hospitalized. I told my wife that it was good that she was in infectious diseases, because she would otherwise starve as a doctor who needed to have repeat patients. The woman was born overseas. I've no problem with that. I've had at least six other physicians of South Asian descent born overseas. Five of the others were excellent, the sixth was satisfactory. She may well be competent at what she does, but she is nonetheless a horrible Doctor. Avoid her, if you can.

The cold less human Dr I have ever seen, time is money... I wouldn't recommend her. Cold and speedy timing manners, un-human

Dr Patel was over 45 mins late for our first appointment and then spent less than 5 mins with me during our consultation. On my second follow up appointment she cancelled and rescheduled, then failed to show up at all for our appointment. Neither she nor her office manager returned phone calls. I still don't know the results of the tests that were ordered, over 30 days later
