Dr. Yala Kirthi Reddy, MD

I was sent to this doctor after a scary hospital stay. She came into the appointment without any knowledge of my hospital stay or past medical history. She read off my colonoscopy results for the first time in front of me, and did not acknowledge my concerns and I tried explaining all my past history and that something was majorly wrong. She completely dismissed me and told me to repeat the colonoscopy in 8 years and to take miralax (even though I told her I have 10 bowel movements daily) when questioned her “diagnosis” (which was- you’re fine) she got irritated and asked me “exactly what do you want me to do for you??” I wanted respect, and for her to do her job and not dismiss me, because I know I’ll end up right back in the hospital with severe bleeding if this problem isn’t addressed. She was so uninterested in hearing me out, looking at my past medical records, and doing what it takes to help me. I left the appointment in tears. I don’t understand why this woman is a doctor. She… lacks any empathy, compassion or desire to do her job. She does the absolute BARE minimum while making you feel hopeless and unheard. I’m unbelievably disgusted over how she treated me.
