Dr. Yan Tan, MD

I do not recommend Dr. Yan Tan. She consistently failed to provide timely or effective support during my visits. Each appointment felt unproductive, and I left with more confusion than clarity. If you’re looking for a doctor who genuinely listens, communicates clearly, and offers meaningful care, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Often a receptionist can make or break good doctor’s practice or the business. The receptionist walked in at 8:40am when I had 8:30 am appointment, and states that she didn’t make appointment for me and I’d made it with Zocdoc so it was no big deal that she was late. Zocdoc or not, the fact is that the office has accepted my appointment from me. I should be treated like everyone else instead. She also made a fun of the way I was saying a certain word as if she was 5 year old child arguing in a playground, and increasingly agitated while looking at the screen. Her disrespectful attitudes and demeanor and her utter lack of professionalism was contemptible. I canceled the appointment and had to walk out of the office as this is what I’d be dealing with each visit to Dr Tan as long as she works there. Patients are already vulnerable at the doctor’s office without such degradation treatment from the front office. I feel sorry for the Dr Tan.

Highly recommend doctor Tan if you are looking for a primary care doctor in Quincy. I am so glad and thankful I found doctor Tan for my parents. About 7 months ago, I started to take my 85+ years old parents to see doctor Tan. Both of my parents have many pre-existing illnesses. At each visit, doctor Tan would spend a good amount of time to understand their condition and explain to us her diagnostic and possible treatment plan.
