Dr. Yanzhi Zhu, MD

One of the most irresponsible and negligent physicians. I am in the medical fields and based on my anecdotal interaction with her, she is the type that is only in the field to collect paychecks. Due to my parent's language limitation, they chose to go with a physician who can speak Mandarin. She misses significant concerns in the chart. She is the type that will just prescribe medication to patients without actually trying to figure out the medical condition. She does not look a patient's complete history as a whole and just start medications based on a snapshot. She orders tests that are not relevant to patient's specific concern because she does either does not know how to or want to address the primary concern. She is the type that puts a bandaid over a a leaking pipe until the pipe bursts so the when the actual leak happens, the problem goes to a different physician. Medicine is hard, especially when there are patients who are scared for their health. However, it still isn't a… reason for you to be a machine and treat individual patient as a number. I'm not sure, it maybe just the specific healthcare system (KP) that is screwed up. Maybe she just became that way because she is working for a company where they focus on maximizing their profit by throwing unreasonable number of patients to physicians so they don't have time to actually treat human beings

Utterly indifferent and unconcerned. Eager to jump to conclusions without asking enough questions. Gets miffed when questioned on an incorrect conclusion, and sighs when asked about alternate paths of diagnosis. AWFUL
