Dr. Yashdip Singh Pannu, MD

I’ve been reading other reviews, besides my own. With one saying he put too long of screws in for the persons body. Well I had that happen FROM ANOTHER DOCTOR. It is not the doctors fault. Things move and the body moves. When that happens , right away you would know not 9 years later. I had 2 very bad attempts from another doctor without him testing everything in surgery, I’m which Dr Pannu does. The other doctor didn’t test in Surgery.. dr Pannu gave me my life back, although I will never work again, I can get out of bed in the morning, I can walk, and I can sit not for long, but I CAN. I never could before I met DR Pannu . I have written a review before, now I am 7 months post op and my pain has Minimalized at a quick pace. I will never be out of pain but I will be put of the pain I was in before Dr Pannu. I will continue to write reviews to all who really are hoping to go with dr Pannu as their Surgen. I would recommend Dr Pannu to all who are hesitant about a neurosurgeon. He is… great, he always calls me back himself, follows up on me when I forget about our appointments (because I am doing things I couldn’t do before surgery). Thank you again Dr Pannu!

Dr. Pannu is a very wise and caring doctor. I would recommend him to anyone having problems with their neck or back.

do not see this doctor .. he ruined my back also got a letter saying I could have defected parts in my back .. no one will help me now

Dr. Pannu did my back fusion in 2015. Even on the day of the surgery he asked me if I was SURE I wanted the surgery. The choice was up to me, as there are never any guarantees. I was in too much pain not to try the surgery. It didn’t make me pain free, and I will be in pain the rest of my life. But without the surgery, I couldn’t live. You have to accept that you have a new “normal” when you have a back injury. It will NEVER be what it was pre injury.

I met Dr pannu from my family doctor. I went to him with hip and left leg pain...intense. No matter HOW many times I said "my hip" he would tell me it was all in my back. Being just an ordinary person, I underwent back surgery to help the pain. Every time I had a follow up, he would ask "Hows your pain from before surgery?" Well enough narcotics and ANYONE would say... maybe better. NOT so. I underwent TWO more additional surgeries to help the original problem. Same question...same answer. THEN he decides he CAN'T make me the 99% better he SAID IN front of myself and my husband. So he throws me at Advanced Pain Management and he's DONE. REALLY??? Cuz my life is screwed! Turns out there was a laebrel tear in my hip I complained about but he NEVER once investigated. He mad a million off my back and now NO ONE wants to help me....I'm in incredible DILY pain. His former colleaugue has urged me to contact the Insurance Commisioner for abandoning me. That's next. Do NOT see this man. His… ego is HUGE. You will end up with no one to help you. Because he wants to "move on" to other victims. Biggest regret EVER. My life is standing still, while he gets to move on. NOT done with YOU doc...

Dr. Pannu has done multiple surgeries on my back, they were all successful. He is companionate and very detailed oriented. He gave me my life back.

If if you are looking for a good Doc. I would say go see yhis Doctor, 201ve been seeing him since 2012. When I first saw hi I barely walk. We went through all the tests, then he did some fusions.It worked very but I. Still wasn"t done. A few more surgeries later, I can walk. This man truely2 loves what he does. He listens to you, works with you, and truely2 can help. I have had back proublems almost all of my life, but this Doctor. has mafe my life more conformal to live. He truly is my Angel. Thank you so much for all of tpur help and guidance.

Very kind and trust worthy I thought...I believed Dr.Pannu and put my life in his hands, if you don't believe that he'll help you get better, don't worry he'll make you out a believer. The day of my surgery, I walked in and never walked out! My over nite stay turned into 1 month and 14 days at st.Luke's...I am 36 years old and walked all my life..I fill like he took that from me. I never got an direct explanation on what possibly happened, he blame other issues I had that has nothing to do with a spine injury I never had, my problem with bulging dics. I couldn't believe I was parlzise waist down...After all that, I was told it would be a year of recovery and my legs should move at the same paste...it has been 2 years paraplegic...Really Dr Pannu! Of course everybody else is warm welcoming even him,, but don't trust that, I AM A LIVING WITNESS!

This Dr is more impressed with how he looks, like wanting to kiss his arms to show them off instead of listening to the patient. He NEVER once even examined me, and kept telling me that I was ALL better even though I kept telling him no I wasn't!!!!! I called with an emergency problem, and he NEVER even bothered to return my call!!!!!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Pannu. I thought he was a good doctor at first, but after being pressured into a second surgery, because the first one was unsuccessful; I went to get a second opinion from a doctor who WOULD NOT perform surgery after a pre-existing operation. I have heard from a physical therapist that its common for dr pannu's patients to need multiple surgeries. PLEASE, PLEASE, Please get a 2nd or 3rd or 4th opinion. I have officially fired this doctor. I was fired from my job...and If you are in litigation, or disability, don't expect to get prompt responses. I believe this Doctor works for his own gain, not the patient. For your own good...find another doctor!
