Dr. Yasodara B Udayamurthy

At first visit, Dr. Udayamurthy sneezed (juicily and snottily) all over her hands and was going to proceed with exam without washing her hands first. When asked politely if it might be a good idea to wash her hands after sneezing, Dr. Udayamurthy flew into an offended rage. I guess patients are going to be "blessed" when smeared with the saliva, sputum, and mucus of the marvelous Dr. Udayamurthy... (wait, no, she's not Jesus.) She runs late most of the time, falsifies information either through her own poor listening comprehension or possibly deliberately. [In one point of a patient's family medical history, the "expert" Udayamurthy decided and recorded that a grandfather had died "at age 70" instead of what the patient said "in his 70s" (actually 78.) She refuses to correct the mistake... should we bring a death certificate or photo of his headstone? (She'd probably ignore that, too.) Dr. Udayamurthy resents and retaliates against patients who choose to go outside of the… Kelsey-Seybold system for second opinions and/or treatment. [A family member had to have remediation surgery at the Texas Medical Center after a botched surgery by a Kelsey-Seybold "specialist"/Udayamurthy referral.] Dr. Udayamurthy needs to stay in her lane, do HER job (as a PRIMARY care physician,) and RESPECT patients, which includes the right to CHOOSE by those with Advantage/Choice plans to seek and obtain care outside of the almighty [NOT] Kelsey-Care system. She needs to focus on the care needs of the moment rather than lecturing and interrogating anyone with the audacity to go outside Kelsey-Seybold for care.

I am thankful for my Doctor. Not only is she a very good doctor, Dr. Udayamurthy genuinely cares about her patients , takes her time, and I feel good knowing that she loves her job and the people she serve.

I have been a patient of Dr Udayamurthy for about 3 + years. She is very pleasant and professional. You never feel that you're just another patient. She always spends time with you.

Although she does spend time with you, she completely discounted all the symptoms I told her about, and in the end said she could tell by looking at me that nothing was wrong with me! Her parting shot was to ask me what I would do if the testing came back normal--very insensitive and unempathic. Ironically, she did find abnormalities on some blood work so she's not psychic afterall. Also a rigidly mainstream doctor so if you have problems that mainstream doctors don't recognize as real, don't go there.

Doctor is good in listing but end she thinks only depression . I am not happy .

My husband & I both see Dr. Udayamurthy for all our health care needs. She really takes a lot of time and listens to all our concerns. She explains everything in detail and asks a lot of questions to make sure we understand everything. We never feel rushed or talked down to. Would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone!

I was referred to Dr. U by the Clinic's nurses in 1993. I now live in OK and still come back every year for my annual physical with her. She spends as much time with me as I need. Very good diagnostician.
