She met my 1 year old daughter for the first time. Saw her for 5 minutes and jumped right to cerebral palsy and ordered an mri under anesthesia! Now, my daughter does have some delays in development but was slowly starting to catch up so I asked her if it was possible that she just delayed and she'll catch up over the next year; her answer was "no, that's not possible." Cerebral palsy was the only possible reason she could be delayed. She took 0 time in hearing her history of rsv multiple times, the flu, Hospitalized, tongue tie, lip tie, over the first 7 months of her life. She's now 15 months old and she's almost walking, her muscle tone has improved greatly, she eats like a champion, understands most things we say to her and babbles quite a bit (no words yet). This dr should not be a pediatric neurologist. I'm seeking a second opinion from someone who specializes in pediatric movement and brain disorders to cross my T and dot my I, but I'm certain she does not have the severe… cerebral palsy this lady said she has.
