Dr. Yelena Yuryevna Sergeyeva, MD

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the excellent services I received during my recent visit to Yelena Sergeyeva, MD office at Kaiser Permanente, Aliso Viejo. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Kaiser’s friendly staff, which immediately put me at ease. During my appointment, Dr. Sergeyeva expertise and attentiveness were evident, and I felt heard and understood as she patiently listened to my concerns. Dr. Sergeyeva ability to explain complex medical concepts in a clear and concise manner reassured me and helped me better understand my health situation. I truly appreciate the time Dr. Sergeyeva took to answer all my questions, and her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure I left with a comprehensive understanding of my treatment plan. Dr. Sergeyeva’s compassionate approach and genuine care for her patients truly sets her apart as an exceptional physician. Additionally, I must commend Kaiser Aliso Viejo support… staff for their efficiency and kindness. They made the administrative process seamless, and their friendliness made a significant difference in my overall experience. As someone who has experienced medical care from various providers, I can confidently say that Dr. Sergeyeva’s level of expertise and dedication to patient care is unmatched. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful healthcare professional, and I will wholeheartedly recommend her services to my friends and family. This doctor should not be practicing in my opinion. She certainly is not a health care provider. I strongly believe her to be detrimental to patient health. When I went in to see her for a routine visit, she put the stethoscope on me and asked me to take a deep breath but unlike other reputable physicians, she only tapped( yes, literally tapped) each location with the stethoscope and did in no way listen to my chest. It was the oddest thing which I blew off as my exam was only a formality to get my migraine medication refilled. I knew I would not be back to see this disheveled doctor with dirty feet and nasty chipped toe nail polish and thought that was the end of it. Then, at a visit a few days later with my specialist, the nurse stated my file showed Dr. Sergeyeva prescribed/recommended aspirin and vitamin D supplements, something we never spoke about. I later looked up my visit summary online and it states that she also put in orders for blood tests that she never mentioned. How… is one supposed to be a healthcare provider when they are so lazy as to not even offer the most minimal of standard of care and then do not even mention items they added to my file and expect me to do. If the nurse who works with my specialist didn't bring this to my attention I would have never known any of the things were ordered and prescribed. Thankfully, my specialist is beyond amazing as is her support staff. There is a reason this doctor scores so low online. Beware of this one if your health is important to you.

I was assigned to Dr. Sergeyva when I had to change to Kaiser clinic nearer where I live. First impression was of very attractive, well-dressed person with what seemed to be engaging personality. I'm an older woman, and a long time Kaiser patient. As I came to experience visits to Dr. Sergeyva, I still thought she was okay...until I needed actual medical care. At that point, I found out I had a doctor with a nice personality, but no interest in providing real care. I'd fallen, one arm detaching at the shoulder and damaging my leg on the same side. I'd received good care at a local, non-Kaiser hospital and the arm, once they realized it was out of the socket was put back in the socket with me following the doctors directions in order to make the process as smooth as possible. We had quite an audience for that as it seemed out of socket arms are not something that is usual. All records and x-rays were sent to Dr. Sergeyva yet when I tried to get a referal to the orthopedic… dept. for follow up care she refused to authorize it unless she saw me first, and there was a delay before there was an appointment available with her. By the time i did get an appointment with her my leg injury was infected. She'd wanted to "examine" me prior to a referral to doctors who could help me but once I was in her office she sat down on her chair and stared at her monitor screen and would not come near me. I asked her to at least look at my arm and leg injury since she had refused me care I needed until she could do so. She said she had already arranged for me to see a specialst. I was relieved until I went to leave and was told that no appointment had actually been made for me and I would need to go home and dial in to Kaiser from there (one arm in a sling) and get my own appointment. She also made arrangements for some outside contractor who provides in home nursing to call me and a relative I had listed as someone to call as an emergncy contact and entered into my file that I had agreed to that. It was never discussed and I would never want in home nurses. She lied. My emergency contact was angry with me for the call she had received. Nice appearance, interesting name, that's it.

I don't know how often you update your website, but Dr. Sergeyeva has been at the Kaiser offices in Aliso Viejo for some time. She is not practicing in Fontana as far as I know. I have seen her 2-3 times, and started with her when my other doctor (long time) retired. She gave me adequate time, answered my questions, is a bit reserved. Admittedly I was comparing her to the doctor I had been seeing for more than 10 years, and it's hard to have to switch. However, I likely will continue on with Dr. Sergeyeva. Also, wait time is dependent on the patient load on any given day....for any given doctor. Sometimes there are patients that need to be squeezed in for an appointment, and other days there may not be many patients visiting the doctor. This is true of all doctors...and wait times will always vary no matter which doctor you see.

After waiting for her one hour. Her Medical Assistant was very rude and argumentative when I asked why I was waiting for so such long time. Then I waited another 15 min. before I actually saw Dr. Yelena Sergeyeva. She was very unhelpful. She verily check me. I asked a question about my past illness and she did not even had an answer. She came to the see me without even looking on my medical record. She was very unhelpful and spend much of her time checking only on my medical record without actually checking ME. Never will see her again. Was a very bad experience!!!
