Dr. Yevgeniya I Karmazin, MD

I came to her office totally sick and miserable. She help me to understand what was wrong and did procedures for me to feel better. Thank you, Doctor very much.

I deside to choose Dr. Karmazin as my pcp doctor , becouse live cross the street . Came to the office for check up . Front desk was wery rut to me , my appointment was for 12pm , but I was wayting 3 hours , becouse doctor deside to have lunch and solve her personal problems instead of taking care of her patients . Finally , doctor see me , find out many problems , which I never had , nothing bother me before . She convince me to do many tests , they provide in the office . I refuse all of them , but the front desk tried to push me and told me , if I am not do those test , the doctor will be very upset and fire front desk , for unprofessional work . Dr . Karmazin is very unprofessional and not caring person . Her proffecional skills are very low . She did not lesen to me , did not let me asked questions . She should work in the different field , not in medicine . Very bad experience , never come back and I will report her as a very unprofessional .

I called the medical office of Dr. Karmazin after seeing she was a medical provider under my insurance plan and close to home. I booked an appointment for 10 am. An hour later I finally saw the medical assistant although there was no one ahead of me in line.The office is in a converted house, so you get the feeling you are in an apartment, not a professional office. The medical rooms are small, dark and drabby. I was first seen by a medical assistant. Although I only complained of a sore throat and have no heart issues, the medical assistant tries to convince me to have an EKG, most likely just to bilk my increase company to pay for something I don't need. I finally get to see Dr. Karmazin. My first impression is that she is not dressed appropriately nor professionally. She is not wearing a white medical coat and is wearing a tight dress. Maybe she is going out for drinks later, who knows? She asks me few, if any questions, about my symptons, is disinterested in anything I have… to say, is very cold and not accomodating. To her credit she takes a swab from my throat to check for strep throat and tells me the results will be in the next day or two. She then takes me into another "bedroom" in this makeshift medical office and writes me a prescription for antibiotics. I asked for her medical opinon. I think some speaking to the patient about her opinion is normal in these circumstances. Also, I did not think I had a bacterial infection, so antibiotics would not help. Dr. Karmazin at this points starts to talk to me as if I am a stupid patient questioning a doctor and tells me that if you want to question her opinion then you should go to another doctor. She gives me the prescription and tells me to go. I could not beleive this person is still practicing medicine. She has obviously lost her desire to work in the medical profession and is more interested in the finacial aspects of running a practice than cariing about her patients. Oh, and by the way, that medical swab I was waiting for: it has been almost a week and I still have not received them. The staff is lazy and clueless and will not go the extra step to make a call to the diagnostics company to see the status of my results. They just keep telling me to call the office back. There are so many medical providers in and around this area (Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, New York). I would strongly advise potential patients to stay away from Dr. Karmazin.
